Jaymie and her team were incredibly professional throughout our entire wedding planning up until my wedding day and beyond. My husband and I felt more than comfortable with her throughout the whole experience. She was extremely flexible with our requests which included her skiing down Mammoth Mountain while taking photos of us and our wedding party. She kept it fun, relaxing and stress free! Jaymie timed our wedding ceremony photos perfect with the sunset lighting. She included our engagement photos in our package which also turned beautiful! Jaymie sent back our wedding photos timely within two months. We had plenty of gorgeous photos to choose from that will last us a lifetime! I will be contacting Jaymie again for any photography sessions we may need. I highly recommend Jaymie and her team for all of your photography needs!

I cannot stress enough how incredible Jaymie is as a photographer and a person in general. My husband and I came up from the Ventura County area to have Jaymie photograph our engagement photos last February. We have always loved the Mammoth area, but being in the middle of February, we weren’t sure where the best backdrop would be. From the moment we booked her, Jaymie was such a dream to work with. She gave us multiple suggestions to choose from with sample pictures from each location. She ultimately recommended a location that was a short hike up one of the Mammoth Mountain ski runs, which ended up being the most amazing backdrop anyone could ask for.

Now, my husband and I are far from ‘naturals’ behind the camera. In all honesty, we’re super awkward and warned Jaymie of this before we started, but she managed to capture the most precious candid moments I’ve ever seen of us. She made us feel so comfortable the whole time and managed to prompt us in ways that brought out our best selves behind the camera. She is the most lovely human and even brought a spare set of gloves in case our hands got cold! She turned around our photos so quickly and we loved every single one of them. She is professional, personable, and a true artist. This review is very long overdue, but we truly cannot recommend Jaymie enough!

Note: Now I know the idea of exercising a bit and going on a hike before a photoshoot may not sound appealing, but PLEASE do yourself the favor and go with where she recommends. The experience alone of hiking up the ski run after hours was enough to make the entire experience for us!

Jamie/Desert Paintbrush exceeded every expectation I had for my elopement. When I think about my wedding day, I am so grateful for her-she made it smooth sailing, no stress, and took amazing photos! We wanted an intimate experience and it helped that she could officiate our ceremony and take amazing photos. She went above and beyond to make sure every request I had was fulfilled, and then some. We had never really taken professional photos before, but felt very comfortable and confident in her guidance.
