Wonderful Experience from Start to Finish

My husband and I got married at Deep South Farm this past August. Highly recommend! They were great through the entire planning process and we had the best day! They were also extremely kind and flexible with us during Covid, which caused us to postpone our wedding. I loved how everything was all inclusive-they handled food, cake, DJ, florals, decor, day-of coordinating, and provided groom and bride cabins to get ready in day-of! Everything came out beautifully. Thanks Deep South Farm!

Nothing short of perfection

My daughter was married at Deep South Farm on September 12th and there was nothing that I would have changed! If you allow these amazingly talented ladies to plan your wedding you will not be disappointed! From start to finish they handle every detail! From the most beautiful flowers to every sign and decoration. They have a wonderful staff that goes above and beyond to give you and your guest an unforgettable event. If you are looking for unique venue with all the bells and whistles available book a tour. Working with these ladies is an amazing experience.

Great owners-beautiful site

The owners of Deep South Farm are the best. Deborah was extremely responsive and let me come to the venue as much as I needed and answered any questions I had. The venue itself was extremely well taken care of and you could tell they kept up with updating certain aspects of the property. New grooms cabin was added and bridal suite is gorgeous. My only advice for couples: Has nothing to do with the venue itself. The "bartender package" we paid for included a bartender that was dressed extremely unprofessionally and was handing out straight shots at the wedding. Make sure you have a good coordinator to keep a bad employee in check wedding night. Or ask to meet bartender hired through venue beforehand to make sure he is aware of your expectations. That being said- I would recommend this venue to ANYONE. It is private and personal and beautiful and affordable- just keep in mind if you have a DIY sunday wedding: Hire staff that you trust that will made sure your night is perfect. If you do a Saturday wedding package YOU ARE GOOD TO GO AND THIS VENUE IS THE BEST AND THEY WILL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BEST WEDDING EVER AND MAKE SURE YOU FEEL TAKEN CARE OF. THE END.

My son & beautiful new daughter-in-law just got married at Deep South Farm. I would highly recommend this venue! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is fantastic to work with. They saw to every detail. They are a great value for what you get for your money. The bride did not need a wedding planner. They had the schedule of events prepared for her and made sure everything went smoothly. I would challenge anyone to try to put together a wedding with all the planning, gorgeous decorations, tables, chairs and all they provide as part of their package for less! They added the bar package, DJ & rental cabins to their base package. Just amazing in every way. The bride spent the night in their adorable Bridal cabin with some of her bridesmaids while my son rented the groom's cabin for his guys. We almost had a rain out for the ceremony on the lake, & they were on top of everything with a back up plan, but the rain cleared & the ceremony went on as planned. Such a beautiful setting for their vows and the reception. The guests loved the "hayride" style wagon that shuttled everyone from the ceremony on the lake to the Barn for the reception (included!). We got SO many compliments on the venue. Ellijay has so many rental cabins for your guests as well. Our family stayed at the "Harrison Haven" 2 minutes from the venue. You will not find a nicer venue for a greater value than Deep South Farm. AMAZING!!!

We could not have been happier with our wedding venue! The ladies at DSF were continually responsive and helpful. We needed a lot of guidance and they were ready and capable! The flowers they provided as a part of our "package" were beyond our expectation. We look forward to seeing all of our pictures so we can study them in greater detail! The variety of "decor" items available and the flexibility of the space and of the staff helped us to customize this already unbelievably gorgeous venue into our "dream-come-true". We are re-living every detail and there is not one thing we would change. We especially loved that we utilized the Bridal Cottage and the Groom's Cottages to house the bridal party on site. The entire party loved the camaraderie and took full advantage of the campfire area and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings as a prelude to the beautiful ceremony and reception. Deep South Farm provided, for us, the perfect blend of casual outdoor and bridal elegant. Just what we were looking for and more!!

When we booked this venue, it was not even completely finished being built yet. However, we loved the property and knew we wanted to get married in Ellijay, so we decided to go ahead and commit to it. We are so thankful that we did! The staff is wonderful and helped us with every detail as we planned. They have a large storage area on site with tons of decor that you can choose for your reception- everything from lanterns and bud vases to signs and antique furniture. They have handmade wooden benches for your ceremony, and beautiful handmade tables for the reception. The florist who works with Deep South Farm, Dawn, did a wonderful job on our flowers as well. They came out exactly how I had envisioned! We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out and would highly recommend this venue to anyone dreaming about a beautiful, outdoorsy type wedding in the North Georgia mountains.
