We had an accelerated timeline for our wedding planning, as we wanted to celebrate with our family and friends before the arrival of our first child. We contacted Alissa 3 months prior to our wedding date and from day one she was exactly the help that we needed. She found, gathered information from and coordinated meetings with florist, cake, photographer, salon, and live band options for us. It was clear that she really considered our vision in her thoughtful selection of the vendor options with which she presented us. This was especially helpful, since we were long distance planning our Wausau wedding from Milwaukee. Once the big decisions were made, Alissa continued communication with our vendors, lent supplies to make venue decorations, and coordinated logistics for the reception. As our wedding weekend approached everything flowed smoothly with the itinerary, developed by Alissa, and her behind the scenes help from the rehearsal to the last dance at the reception. Not to mention, she coordinated the entire decoration of our venue during the morning of so that we could relax. It is challenging to recall EVERYTHING that Alissa did for us, but what we are most grateful for is that she helped to make the planning process enjoyable and that she took care of all of the behind the scenes details on the day of the wedding so that we were able to be present and enjoy every moment with each other, our family, and our friends during our wedding day. Alissa was a dream to work with! We contacted her very late into the wedding planning game. We thought that we could handle all we needed to do for a 200 person wedding and we were wrong, that is where Alissa came in. She was available for us and as soon as I spoke to her on the phone I knew we had made the right decision in hiring to help us make our special day happen. Alissa made our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I were engaged January 1st, 2014, and we set our wedding date for July 5th, 2014. With my fiance living out of town at the time, and me being in school full-time and raising a 5 year old daughter, we knew we needed help if our wedding was going to be what we hoped for. Alissa and I started to discuss planning the wedding in February 2014. This did not give her much time to put together an outdoor wedding/barn reception for a guest list of over 300. But Alissa handled the wedding planning process with grace and finesse, being sure to include me in all the details without overwhelming me. Not only did Alissa give us the wedding we hoped for, but she went well above all of our expectations. From invitations to decorating to finding a caterer and a venue (after our original cancelled on us less than two months before the wedding date), we still can't believe that she did it ALL. Alissa is very creative, and we saw this in every detail of our wedding. She set up a beautiful area for the bridal party to get ready in, designed a lawn-game set up for our guests while we took pictures, created a smore's bar for the reception, and made sure that everything started at the correct time flowing smoothly without me or my husband having to be in charge of anything at all. When the day came for our wedding, my husband and I looked out at everything our day had become, and we knew it was because of Alissa and her wedding planning expertise. The best part about Alissa planning the wedding is that we could enjoy our day the way we were meant to without stress and with full happiness that our special day was everything we hoped for.
