If you were anything like me searching for live music, you had countless options and it was overwhelming. I narrowed it down to two music options, one being a DJ and one being David’s guitar & vocals. David’s stellar reviews sold me. Our large party’s age range varied from early 20’s to late 60’s. David had everyone dancing by the end with modern and throwback sensations. He also had relaxing, social ballads and he read the room with a gift. The worst part of the experience was when it was over, but David played Istanbul as a finale for us and we danced out the night. I cannot tell you how many times people kept coming up to me saying how great David was. And let me assure you, if you hire him, not only will you hear the same, you’ll hear an indescribably talented musician that you’ll wish could play the night away like David very generously did for us. My husband and I can't say enough about our experience with David. From the moment we contacted him to the moment he wrapped up providing music for our cocktail hour he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is so nice, responsive, easy to work with and TALENTED!! We looked at his extensive list of music and told him to use his judgement and boy was he great! Many of our quests commented on how amazing he was, how great the variety of songs was and how much they enjoyed him playing during the cocktail hour for our wedding. You will not regret hiring David - I guarantee it!

We booked David Andrew Smith for our wedding at Rocklands farm. He was extremely responsive, learned all of the requested songs and played them beautifully. He has an extensive collection of songs he can play across all genres. He setup for our cocktail hour and then transitioned into the barn area for the reception seamlessly. 10/10 would recommend for any event, especially a wedding. He had a great voice and was very friendly and engaging. A true professional and helped create a memory of a lifetime for us

David was absolutely wonderful throughout the planning process and was one of my favorite people to work with. He played acoustic (just him with the guitar!) during our cocktail hour and then was joined by the full band for our wedding reception. The band also provided a sound person who MC'd the entrance/speeches/bouquet toss/etc. throughout the night and helped with the sound equipment during the ceremony.

In addition to being incredibly talented, David was extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible in helping make our day perfect. The band learned the songs we requested for the bride/groom first dance and the father/bride, mother/groom dances. All 3 songs were incredibly different (The Fray vs. Elvis vs. Rascall Flatts) but David and the band were able to perform all 3 amazingly well and with their own flair. I took dance lessons with both my husband and dad, so we wanted to get a feel for what the band's cover of the songs would sound like beforehand (so that we wouldn't miss a beat!). David went completely above and beyond in providing recordings of him singing the songs a few weeks before the wedding. Additionally, we also realized that we would need help with the sound equipment for our ceremony. Again, David went above and beyond to go out of his way to make everything perfect. To top it all off the band was amazing -- everyone spent the entire night on the dance floor, dancing to a range of popular/older songs (we requested songs from their repertoire which David happily worked into the set list). Although my husband and I did not attend the cocktail hour, I heard from a few guests that David was amazing .

Overall David and the band had such a big impact in making our day perfect for us. I have also heard the band at a number of other events and have had the same experience -- everyone has loved the music! I cannot even do justice to the level of service and attentiveness we received. I would absolutely recommend David and the band for your wedding!

Dave provided the music for both our ceremony and our reception and I can't recommend him highly enough.

For our cocktail hour and ceremony he provided guitar and violin. He mixed classical and contemporary songs to bring a light, lovely atmosphere to our guests.

For our reception, he and his band absolutely rocked! They played classic rock and modern music, accommodated several of our requests to have him learn pieces, and knew how to mix the music to create a truly rocking night! Everyone had an amazing time and kept coming up to me and telling me how great the band was!

I can't recommend Dave more highly. He's just the best!

We had been referred to David by a friend and it was an absolute pleasure to have him lead the music at our wedding. We had so many compliments! He provided the exact 'feel' we were looking for and we couldn't have been happier! He was very accommodating with our requests and easy to work with. We would recommend him to a friend and we would definitely use him again for any large parties we may have in the future!

Dave was amazing! He provided our ceremony and reception music. For the ceremony, we had several specific songs we wanted played and then asked him to play others that he knew that were similar leading up to those specific songs. His personal choices were great and for the specific songs, including the one I walked down the aisle to, he learned quickly and played really well. He also had a variety of contacts in the music industry and gave us choices if we wanted anyone to accompany him. We chose a violinist to accompany him and she was also great. For the reception, Dave was able to find a band arrangement that we wanted and everyone was great. We had seen Dave play several times and were comfortable letting him choose the playlist for the reception. His selections were perfect and managed to get my non-dancing family on the dance floor. We also received a lot of compliments on the music. Highly recommend!

Dave and his band were great at my wedding! Everyone really enjoyed themselves, and we would have danced till dawn if only we had rented the building for longer.

Even today, over a year and a half after our wedding, I still have friends and family stopping me to tell me how amazing the band was at our wedding. Everyone involved was professional, courteous, and great to work with. They were worth every penny and then some!
