This place is great! Cassie the bridal coordinator answered all of my questions, and was so easy to work with. My hair and make-up came out fantastic, and we made the perfect adjustments between the trial and the day-of for a final look I was really happy with. We had an amazing team of stylists that did a great job for my bridal party of 5 bridesmaids and two mothers. We were in/out in 2.5 hours, which left us with plenty of time for other wedding day prep activities. Would definitely recommend them to anyone with a bridal party in the Annapolis area.

Jamie (hair) and Renee (makeup) both id a fantastic job. I had a Brunch wedding with a small wedding party so i was the only one who wanted to get my hair and makeup professionally done. Therefore i could not find a hair and makeup team to come to my hotel. It was not a problem because David Alexander Salon and Spa opened early for me!
I recieved so many compliments on my hair and makeup. They were both open to my suggestions but are very professional and know exactly what to do.
Wedding hair and makeup is not cheap but it was well worth it! there is no way that I or any of my friends could have done what they did.
The coordinator, Lauren, was also very responsive and eased my fears that I had not allowed enough time for the appointment.

I got married in Annapolis, MD aboard a sailboat, but was coming from DC, so needed a local salon for myself and my maids. Found David Alexander Salon online and was impressed with the website and especially prices.

Amber, their Bridal Consultant, was so accommodating and nice to work with throughout our three months of wedding planning. I had hair, airbrush makeup, mani, and pedi, and my maids had pedicures.

My hair had two french braids leading back to pinned curls with jewels sprinkled throughout. They used two stylists, Jenny and Nicole, to make sure my braids were nice and tight and wouldn't blow out in the breeze of the boat. Sure enough, they stayed in for two days and looked pristine! The updo curls in back were GORGEOUS and I have no idea how they made shoulder-length hair look like long hair! This hairdo lasted through an entire rainy afternoon and looked perfect the whole time.

Same for my makeup. Amber did my airbrushing and I will do this again! It feels like nothing on your face instead of the caked goop I had when I was a bridesmaid last year. I hate liquid muck on my face, so airbrush makeup is a revelation! I also had individual false lashes applied at the corners of my eyes, and this opened up and lifted the corners of my (somewhat droopy) eyes without the need for heavy contouring shadow in the crease. My look was so pretty and light, and looked good up close as well as in photos. Fantastic.

Also enjoyed my mani and pedi with Rick, who is personable and really knows his stuff about nails and nail products. Thanks to his recommendation, I'll try SHELLAC hybrid polish next!

I had my hair done by Jama, and my makeup done by Renee. Both ladies were so fun to be around, and did really good jobs! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but Renee was able to make me look natural but still polished. She recommended air brushing, which made me a little nervous at first, but did not fade or smear, and stayed fresh looking. Jama did an amazing job with my updo- I have long, really thick hair that is hard to manage, but she was able to create an elegant hairstyle that lasted all night! These ladies did a wonderful job!

I loved my makeup for the day of my wedding. I decided to go with the airbrushing and was very happy I because it did held up throughout the day and night. It was great working with them and was pleased with everything considering I am not from Maryland, never visited this salon, but did everything over email and phone! I am so pleased everything worked out to my expectations!

Our experience with David Alexander Salon was nothing but excellent from start to finish. Working with Amber (Bridal Coordinator) was a dream. Our communications were thorough, professional, and responsive. She helped to create the perfect wedding day beauty schedule that met all of our needs. My bridal stylist, Nicole, was a true talent. She was very professional and patient during the trials and worked hard to ensure that I was satisified with my weddnig day look. Amber performed wonders with airbrush make up during the trial and on the big day. Both Amber and Nicole worked with my preferences to ensure that I felt my best on my wedding day. I left the salon on my wedding day feeling more beautiful than I ever had before and I have the team at David Alexander to thank. My bridal party and mothers looked great as well! I would highly recommend the professionals at David Alexander Salon for top-notch wedding day beauty services. My only concern with the salon was they they charge full price (wedding day price) for the trial. Very few salons do this, but it was worth every penny!

Amber coordinated the mani/pedis for me and the bridesmaids the day before the wedding. That went ok - apparently, the actual nail techs had to do some big switch in the process of who was doing what and it took the longer to do the 3 of us than they had planned for. And that was even with me (the bride) not getting a full manicure. I needed 2 gel nails (broken nails!), and that apparently took enough extra time that trimming my cuticles just didn't happen.

Amber did my makeup. It looked ok in the pictures. In the close-ups, you could *clearly* see that I was wearing full makeup. Then again, I'm used to mineral powder foundation, which looks completely natural. She was very flexible with what I wanted. When we did the run-through, they eye makeup was a bit too intense and she softened it really well for the wedding day. Now, I don't know if it was because it was humid, but I rubbed my nose after the ceremony and all of hte makeup in that spot rubbed off. My bridesmaids were able to fix it with a bit of powder, but another spot must have rubbed off later, becasue there's a weird mark on my face in a bunch of the pictures taken later that day. Just don't touch your face once the makeup is on.

Hair: I have short hair, so there's no much to do up there. It looked lovely for the first couple hours...but it was very humid, so it eventually fell a bit and became a little frizzy.

Overall, I wouldn't say that this place is top-quality professional, but they're certainly better than average.

My sister and I both got our hair and makeup done. We turned out looking great and my hair and makeup lasted ALL NIGHT. No smudging of eyeshadow, no nothing. My hair took 2 hours and makeup took 1 hour. My sisters hair didn't take quite as long, but prepare for a long process (which is worth it!) Only thing was when we were checking out, us two together was $400 which I thought was a bit expensive (especially with added gratuity, which the ladies deserved!)
