Great wedding day transportation!
We hired a DASH bus to transport our wedding guests from our reception venue to our after-party venue. The representative was super responsive and accommodating, the driver was prompt, and we were all delivered safely to the venue at tough to beat hourly rate. And, somehow, we ended up with a trolley instead of a bus which was such a great touch, not to mention the addition of our names and after party information scrolling across the sign in the front window of the trolley. Would totally recommend DASH bus as a fun, cheap, dependable transportation service for any event.

Can't beat the value!
We hired DASH to transport our wedding party and our guests from a hotel in Old Town Alexandria to our Venue, Woodlawn and Pope Leighey House. Amaha was very responsive during the booking process. The buses were all clean, drivers were very nice, and our guests were pleased with the service. Also, you cannot beat the price. DASH was at least a third to a quarter of the cost of every other local transportation company we contacted. I would highly recommend DASH to anyone looking for wedding transportation.

They must be under new management, because we had a great experience with DASH! We highly recommend DASH as an affordable and still very nice option for wedding transportation in Alexandria. We needed to transport about 20 bridal party members and family as well as another 100 guests from the hotel in Old Town to our wedding at Mount Vernon Inn and back after the wedding in three shifts and DASH did it seamlessly for $1000. We had one bus take the bride and her bridesmaids in the first shift at 2:30, go back for the groom and his party at 3:30, then return to pick up the guests with two other buses at 4:30. The buses were all very clean, on time, and they even put “Wedding Party” on the digital display for the ride! Cute touch and great service.

At $80 per hour, the 37-passenger, wheelchair accessible DASH Bus was our best bargain! The driver was SO nice (she actually drove a passenger's purse back to the hotel when the guest left it on the bus), but she did get lost and did not have a map or GPS. What is wrong with these transportation companies - everyone has GPS now! Anyway, if you go with them, just make sure to give them detailed directions (not just addresses).

This was the vendor that caused the most headaches. The bus worked out fine in the beginning; it got everyone to the wedding on time and in one piece. We had a problem at the end of the night when the bus driver got lost and was being 45 minutes late. Luckily we had several other very patient vendors helping us out. Once we got on the bus everything was fine and we had a great time. The driver was very nice, she let us bring beer and have a very loud sing along in the back of the bus. I'll cautiously recommend them. They are definitely the least expensive option in the area but, like the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

We used Dash to take the wedding party downtown for pictures before the ceremony and then to shuttle guests from Old Town to the ceremony/reception site. Our guests definitely appreciated having the transportation and it worked out just fine for us. However, we heeded the cautions other people had told us about. Mainly, make sure your contract is EXACTLY what you want it to be. We forced them to let us have the bus go back to the garage in the middle so we wouldn't be charged for hours it wasnt in use. Also, make sure that the bus people are clear on who is permitted to make changes in the contract at the last minute should the need arise.
The bus certainly served its purpose but they are not the easiest people to work with. It was worth it for the price though.

DASH buses were cheap but were not very organized. There was no communication from them leading up to the wedding to discuss and confirm a contract which was set up 8 months earlier. My guests had to direct the driver back to the hotel at the end of the night.
