So for our wedding our first photographer had to pull out of our wedding about five days prior. Which wasn’t their fault, but it was horrible. I worked with my planner (Melanie Paige!) and she suggested Dani who did her own wedding. What can I say. Dani was incredible. We had our first meeting essentially that night and we clicked and I felt so at ease. She worked with us because our budget was also different and was tied up with the other photographer, and wow. She was worth every penny. Dani captured our wedding in the most perfect light. She was exceptional and I would recommend her to anyone. I wish I could get married again so I could have had more time getting to know her.

Dani Nichol Photography is hands down the best out there! I have known Dani for a couple of years now and as soon as I got engaged, she was the first vendor call that I made. There was no way we were having our wedding without her as our photographer. I'm also a planner in the industry and Dani is the definition of professionalism. The way that she cares about all of her couples is out of this world and she always makes sure that her couples have the best day ever. If you are looking for a photographer, then hire Dani. We have both known Danielle for several years, and knew without a doubt she had to photograph our wedding. Prior to booking the venue, we made sure Danielle was available on our prospective date. We wanted Danielle not only for her already established craft, but who she is as an overall person. Danielle was a dream for us to work with on our wedding day. From her arrival to the very end of the wedding, she did not stop moving, laughing and directing us in such a way that was immensely accommodating. Danielle not only is humble when she’s on the scene, but is hilarious too which helped with the big day nerves. When we received our wedding gallery from Danielle we were beyond thrilled. The passion behind Danielle’s photos is so evidently displayed in each individual shot, and we will cherish these for the rest of our lives.

We are so incredibly happy that we hired Dani as our wedding photographer - it was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. I don't feel like I can say enough great things about her & her work. Her photos are incredibly beautiful, she truly helps you feel at ease being photographed, & she is overall just a wonderful person. From the time we hired her she was extremely helpful, answered every one of our seemingly hundreds of questions, was flexible with our schedules, & helped alleviate so much of the stress of wedding planning for us.

My husband & I had never had professional photos taken of us & were a little nervous going into our engagement shoot. Dani met up with us before the shoot to get to know us - she put us so much at ease & the whole experience made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. Dani made our engagement shoot fun, comfortable, & effortless for us & the photos we received were absolutely incredible.

On our wedding day Dani & her second photographer were wonderful. She was so professional & organized - she knew exactly what she was doing & it was very apparent how great of a wedding photographer she is. Our couple & family photos were done so quickly & smoothly that we were even able to enjoy some of our cocktail hour. She again made us feel completely at ease being photographed & was so fun to work with - she brought so much ease, comfort, & fun to the day that I felt like we had hired a friend!

We received our sneak peak of photos the next day & were both in tears at how beautiful they were. I know we will cherish all of our photos from her forever & will absolutely hire her in the future for any photos we need!

I cannot say enough great things about Dani. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, she is an incredible person. From our first chat on the phone, she immediately set me at ease. She is genuine and sincere in wanting to deliver your day the way you envision it. She is not trying to "sell" you the way many wedding vendors will, instead she is focused on getting to know you and your fiancee in order to capture future memories from your most important day.

Dani took the time to get to know us, both over a phone call and over a dinner before our engagement shoot. She flew across the country for our shoot (we live in Oregon and got married in Florida, but wanted the engagement photos from OR) and she was proactive in scouting locations for the shoot and making recommendations for what to wear and how to plan the day. She was directive and professional, but also incredibly considerate and thoughtful. She gave guidance on how to pose and when it was clear we were a bit uncomfortable, she broke the tension and made us laugh. And that was just the engagement session.

On the day of our wedding, Dani was perfect. She arrived on time and closely coordinated with our other vendors. She'd scouted the venue in advance coming completely prepared with key shot lists, locations, and a perspective on timing. On a day filled with stress and nerves, Dani put me at ease and I oddly felt like she, more than anyone else I was surrounded by, could understand and empathize with my emotions.
Having seen so many brides, you could tell she got it and knew exactly what to say to keep everything going smoothly. She was incredibly friendly with the wedding party and family, directive when she needed to be (to make sure we stayed on schedule), and creative with the shots she wanted to make sure got captured.

With both the engagement and wedding photos, she delivered a preview the next day and we got the full set of photos within just a few short weeks. Both shoots were impeccable. It's not an exaggeration to say that I felt like I got to relive my wedding when going through the photos. She perfectly captured the emotion of the day, the key moments, the candid and unplanned moments, and everything in between. Her style perfectly matched what I'd always envisioned and we will forever treasure the art she created. I wish I knew more people getting married because I would recommend all of them hire Dani. She's a dream. We will be using her for future family photos to come!
