There's a recent review of 2.2. I have no idea who this is. I have not performed at a wedding with someone named Eric for some years. I'm sure it's a competitor trying to smear my excellent service. Peter Anania

We hired Peter Anania of Dancing Machine Co. for a wedding celebration and couldn’t be happier with the results. Peter was great to work with – responsive, professional, and extremely nice as well. He sent us a comprehensive form to fill out before the event and made sure to understand what we wanted for our party as far as music choices and announcements. Peter was also able to bring us a ton of AV support (uplighting, extra microphones, powerpoint projector and large screen), which made logistics for the night of the party very easy. He played great music throughout the party and really kept the crowd out on the dance floor late into the evening. If you are looking for a great DJ for an event I definitely recommend Peter and the Dancing Machine Co. Thanks for a great party, Peter!

We were lucky to have Peter! He just let us and the guests do what we wanted. I wish I had been more specific on what I wanted played. Turns out I know nothing about new music and would have rather heard more '90s stuff but I think he read the crowd well and everyone had a great, great time.

We hired this dj for our wedding and disappointing doesent even describe our experience. He seemed responsive throughout the process, professional, and detail oriented. Was flexible with our song selection and threw in a light show with our price which we paid $600. We were excited to have him DJ our party and everything looked promising untill wedding day. He did show up early and got setup for the event so that was good. Was dressed for the occasion as requested and seemed ready to go so to speak.

during the ceremony walk out he missed the cue to start playing the song there was a 15-20 second delay. Me the groom had to gesture in front of everyone to play the song while awkwardly being looked at by the wedding party and all the guests. Three different people signaled to him as well. Was embarrassing. Then he got all the names wrong when announcing the wedding party, everyone except for my wife and I. Again embarrassing. After that, he just sat at his table playing the songs with no energy or excitement in his voice when making announcements. I had several guests mentioned something about him and about the fact that it looked like he was about to fall asleep on more than one occasion sitting there with his hand on his head at the DJ table. He just didn’t have any energy and the guests were feeding off that thus not a lot of dancing happened which was disappointing.

I’m not sure if this was just a one off day for him but I was surprised considering the reviews but either way My wife and I thought this was unacceptable as your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life.

If you’re considering using this vendor I would be extra cautious. From my reviews and the others are saying I feel like you have a 50-50 chance of having a good experience with him if you’re OK with those odds and price is your only objection then I would give him a shot.
