Both our engagement and wedding pictures turned out great and we get many compliments from them and interest from prospective brides about who did our pictures. I felt his prices were reasonable compared to the other in-demand photographers in the Springfield area. He posted teaser shots on Facebook and we always got our pictures within 3-4 weeks of the session. I was able to communicate with him via e-mail easily and he always got back to me within 24 hours. It rained the day of our outdoor ceremony, but David just included the rain in our photography and it turned out beautifully. He doesn't have another photographer that works with him, so if you want thousands of pictures of your day, he may not be your guy. We got about 400 quality photos. His wife, Sarah, does come with him to the wedding and assist with placement of people, bouquet, dress, etc. She was very nice. If you think you want to use David, book early! I booked about 14 months before our wedding date and know that was already the last date he had for that month & year.

David is awesome. We had a last minute change of plans and he just rolled with it. Always quick to respond. He is a calming presence on a hectic day and great at capturing candid moments. I would definitely recommend him for your photographic needs.

They knew all the right angles and how to made a bride relax and enjoy the day for what it should be! The pictures turned out beautiful and were so unique, could not have asked for better.

I absolutely loved working with David Coleman and his wife. Throughout the planning process he was extremely responsive with any inquiry I had. He included the engagement shoot in our package which was actually much more beneficial than I expected. I hadn't planned to do this, but the chance to work with him prior to the wedding day was great to get to know him and he us, and understand each other's style. The engagement pictures were great! At our wedding he was there all day - ALL day - and was so steady and calm and efficient. His wife was great at helping set up each shot and make us comfortable. We were married in Vail and took photos all around the village - she moved around us and cleared the crowds on a busy Saturday to have our shots just us - right in the town! That was amazing. We had a rain delay and a late change of location and they were very calming and amped up the pace when we had to work on a different time table. All that said - the photos were amazing. I am so happy I found David and the value for what you get is seriously amazing. I am constantly getting compliments on the photos and they truly are perfect! Couldn't be happier and I've already recommended to my friend who are using him as well. I highly recommend!

I love pictures and when I moved to the Springfield area I knew I needed to start following the blogs of random photographers to see their work. D Coleman Photography was the one that caught my eye. I knew I had to have him photograph my wedding. He did an amazing job! When I got the disc of photos I realized there were so many times throughout the day that I didn't realize he was nearby taking pictures. He captured every moment. David and Sarah Coleman are one of the BEST photographers around!! Not only are their pictures gorgeous, but they have great personalities that click with everyone they meet. WOW! David is unbelievably talented. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our wedding pictures and though scenery has a lot to do with that, I know so much of it is because of David. From our first conversation on the phone to the last email I have enjoyed every interaction. Getting pictures taken with him was exciting. Everyone looks fantastic in our pictures and he captured so many unexpected moments. You would feel lucky to have him take pictures for you!

David and Sarah with D Coleman Photography were awesome to work with. They were prompt and professional, but also very warm and friendly. I trusted them from the beginning, and always felt that the memories of our special day were in the right hands. They stuck around through the evening getting the important shots, but also humored some of our "bossier" guests who insisted on having certain pictures taken. They were very patient, which, I think, was the best part. We had a tiny, family-only, low-key wedding and the photography was more than 60% of my total budget - it was worth every penny. Not only are the images AMAZING (I have gotten so many compliments), but David and Sarah were so great to work with - kind, creative, and fun. I've been in many weddings and the photographer often acts as though they are running the show - that was not the case at all with David. He was there capturing every moment but his presence was never felt. He did a great job of capturing our personalities and non-traditional wedding style - though he'd be great at traditional weddings as well. I am so grateful to have found D Coleman Photography and would highly recommend him to everyone - even if you have to pay mileage for him to come to KC, St. Louis, etc - he's worth it.
