I really didn't know what I wanted to do for favors when I first began thinking about them for my wedding. All I knew was that I wanted to do something unique that I had never seen before. I actually met Paul, one of the owners of Your Own Winery, at a bridal expo and fell in love with the idea of making our own wine and giving them out as favors. My fiance and I went in for our first appointment and decided on making three different types of wine. Paul let us try a bunch of different flavors, and we settled on two reds and a white. All three were very unique blends that I had never had before and knew would be perfect. We began the making of the wine that day and was told we would have to come back in two weeks to put in all the chemicals to turn them into wine. After the initial two visits, we were able to come back a few months later when the wine was ready to be bottled. We got to bring our entire bridal party to bottle, which was so much fun (we also got to try the amazing wine we made).
I think my two favorite things about this wine favor was the customized labels and utilizing the favors as table numbers. One of my bridesmaids is a graphic designer so we were able to design the most amazing labels for the bottles. Each type of wine was named after coordinates, the first was where we met, the second was where he asked and the third was where we got married. Paul was also able to make tags for each bottle that I was able to use as table cards at the wedding. My guests LOVED the wine and thought it was such a unique way to find their seat. They loved the attention to detail that went into the labels and how great the wine actually tasted. Michele and Paul were really easy to work with and really helped make my wedding one that all of my guests will remember. I definitely want to go back and make more wine just to have at home.

My husband and I weren't sure what we wanted to do for our wedding favors. We both love wine, so we started to go that route, but buying them in bulk and labeling them ourselves seemed like more work and more money than we wanted to spend. We came across Your Own Winery and liked the idea that you participated in the wine making and bottling process. From our tasting all the way to our bottling, Michele and her team were amazing to work with! They were attentive and made everything so stress-free, a rarity in wedding planning. When our dog unexpectedly passed away, Michele helped us create the most perfect labels and tags so we could honor her at our wedding on our favors. We even involved our friends and family in the bottling experience, and they all had such a wonderful time. It was truly an amazing experience and a perfect choice for favors!
