I really didn't know what I wanted to do for favors when I first began thinking about them for my wedding. All I knew was that I wanted to do something unique that I had never seen before. I actually met Paul, one of the owners of Your Own Winery, at a bridal expo and fell in love with the idea of making our own wine and giving them out as favors. My fiance and I went in for our first appointment and decided on making three different types of wine. Paul let us try a bunch of different flavors, and we settled on two reds and a white. All three were very unique blends that I had never had before and knew would be perfect. We began the making of the wine that day and was told we would have to come back in two weeks to put in all the chemicals to turn them into wine. After the initial two visits, we were able to come back a few months later when the wine was ready to be bottled. We got to bring our entire bridal party to bottle, which was so much fun (we also got to try the amazing wine we made).
I think my two favorite things about this wine favor was the customized labels and utilizing the favors as table numbers. One of my bridesmaids is a graphic designer so we were able to design the most amazing labels for the bottles. Each type of wine was named after coordinates, the first was where we met, the second was where he asked and the third was where we got married. Paul was also able to make tags for each bottle that I was able to use as table cards at the wedding. My guests LOVED the wine and thought it was such a unique way to find their seat. They loved the attention to detail that went into the labels and how great the wine actually tasted. Michele and Paul were really easy to work with and really helped make my wedding one that all of my guests will remember. I definitely want to go back and make more wine just to have at home. -

User2538020 Sent on 02/19/2016We love wine and we knew all along wine would be our wedding favors. I looked at many different options and so glad we found “Your Own Winery”. Michele, Paul and Charlie are amazing. From the tasting to bottling, the experiences are amazing and fun. I am sure all of you already know that from either reading the reviews or from your own experiences. Our wedding is not till later on this year but I already know it will be a big hit and everyone is going to love our favors. More importantly, not only the labels, the ideas, the staffs, the places are unique and amazing, the wines are also delicious. We ended up making our own wines for “us” to drink and our friends also made their own wines when they bottled with us. I highly recommend this place whether for your wedding favors or for your own home to drink . The value of the wine and the whole experiences are first class and five stars all the way. We are going to be a long term customer to “your own winery” because it truly is a great wine school/place . -

User2303568 Sent on 09/07/2015They were exceptionally kind and helpful. I contracted their services a little last minute, and they were very accommodating all throughout. We really enjoyed the experience, were very happy with the results and are very excited to give these away at our wedding. We think it is such s nice, unique and useful favor to give our guests. The bottle size is actually very large, much bigger than other sized favors. We definitely recommend YourOwnWinery!Your Own Winery's reply:

Danielle Sent on 05/23/2015We found an ad for Your Own Winery in The Knot newsletter and decided to take a ride. We are so glad we did! we had an amazing time making our very own wine for our wedding day favors~We made a red and a white wine. Michele and staff were so helpful throughout the entire process! They taught us about the wine and were so helpful in making sure our favors were unforgettable. They were flexible and helped us out since we lived about an hour away and made the bottling, corking, sealing and labeling process a party.
We were able to have unique and fun wedding favors that were a big hit! They even provided us with a thumb drive of pictures and videos of the process for us to enjoy.Your Own Winery's reply:

User2534099 Sent on 02/14/2016Everyone in this store is SUPER nice. They explain everything you need to do to make your wine and walk you through the steps. We live a little far them the location so they offered to do some of our steps for us. They are very accommodating and helpful. I will be back to make more wine with them!
