Peggy is such a sweetheart and she did a beautiful job with my dress! I was so happy with it and the pictures were great! We took the neckline down a bit to match with my necklace, brought in the waist to make it more fitted, and hemmed and added a bustle. I felt great in my dress all day. Thank you Peggy!! ♥

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Saved my wedding dress! I had my dress altered by another company, who shortened the straps too much. Custom alterations assured me they could fix this no problem & did it perfectly & for such a great price. I will recommend them for everything now.

Peggy was about an hour from my house but many of the girls from work had recommended her- it was worth the drive. She was polite, nobody seemed annoyed I had to bring my sons with me to try on the dress and she was very thorough. My dress didn't need much but I was still a nervous wreck before getting it altered! The girls that help Peggy were so nice and I had a wonderful experience all together.

Peggy and her team were amazing to work with. I not only needed the usual alterations for my dress, I also wanted additional lace added to my train which was originally just tulle. I brought the lace I had ordered with my dress and Peggy and her team effortlessly created a design on my train that looked as if it had been there in the first place. It was absolutely stunning. Also, as a larger tested woman, I still picked a dress that had a sheer back. Peggy came up with an idea to tack in a long-line bra that she then custom fit in to the dress so I felt totally supported during my entire wedding.

Peggy did an amazing job altering my dress. She redid the top part from a 14 to a 6. It looked perfect! She is very friendly and caring. I drove an hour each time for a fitting and it was totally worth it!

There is no other way to say it, Peggy is an expert at what she does. She made adjustments to my gown that I didn't even know I needed and made my dress fit like it was made for me! She even replaced some of the boning in my corset to make it fit more comfortably at no charge. People could not stop raving about how beautiful my dress was and I owe a lot of that to Peggy! Her shop was great to work with too and they made the process stress-free, which is so important during wedding planning!!

I am new to the area and after calling a few other options (I am extremely picky), I chose to work with Peggy and her team. Peggy was VERY helpful throughout the whole process. I had a Pronovias Plisa dress that I wanted illusion sleeves added with lace and beadwork to along with a bustle and a few other minor adjustments. The material needed for my sleeves and lace/beadwork did not arrive until 11 days before my wedding (ordered through another vendor), but Peggy assured me it was plenty of time to make the dress into exactly what I had in mind - and she delivered.

Peggy is creative and helpful. Her years of experience allowed me (as a bride) to better understand what would work best with my specific dress verses what I walked through the door thinking would work best. Peggy helped add to my dress to make it into something so incredibly stunning and exactly what I wanted.

Since my wedding only 2 months ago, I have returned to have a bridesmaids dress altered and will be taking my wedding dress to Custom Alterations for cleaning and preservation.

My experience with Peggy has been nothing but pleasurable! I came to her store with a wedding dress that did not fit. AT ALL! ***Side note, do not believe a salesperson at BHDLN when they tell you that the dress will definately fit if you order one size bigger than the sample size. *** I left her store, a couple months later with a beautiful, well fitting, completely redone gown. I am so grateful for her skill at sewing, and reconstruction of my dress. she is not only talented, but also a wonderful human being! She is the perfect solution for a bride or prom dress that needs alterations all the way to reconstruction of the dress. Thank you so much, you've saved my wedding! My advice to women is to shop at a store with more experience with their gowns so you won't be put in my situation. Peggy was wonderful to work with, especially because I was trying to plan my wedding from across the country. We worked out a great plan for me to do my first appointment when my wedding dress came in and then twice during the week of my wedding. It was so nice that they were able to work with my schedule, so I didn't have to keep coming home to get alterations done.

I had a custom dress made from three different pieces. Peggy needed to take it in a little, hem the skirt, make small adjustments to the fit of the jacket, and make a custom sash with bow. The dress looked fabulous before Peggy got her hands on it, but it was really a work of art after she finished it! I really appreciated how she made suggestions throughout the process to ensure the best fit/look, but she was never pushy, and I always had the final say.

Despite the numerous dresses she had to do the week of my wedding, she never wavered on her craftsmanship. The alterations were done correctly and were just beautiful. I felt very valued as a customer, and I appreciated her good humor, attention to detail, and customer service. You're in good hands if Peggy is your seamstress!

This is our families second wedding using them, several personal dresses and proms...they are simply amazing!!! The best around in our opinion! Reasonable and like family!
