BOOK THIS DJ IMMEDIATELY! I can't say enough good things about Core Elite Entertainment/Devin/DJ Penny. He was super responsive over email and listened and followed through on everything we asked for. He perfectly mixed an abbreviated track for our first dance. Even though he was only booked for reception music, he arrived early and provided audio equipment for the ceremy. He expertly adjusted to the addition of a last minute speech. His announcements were super professional and clean.

Once the dance floor was open for the evening, it was super important to me that it was bumping all night, and DJ Penny DELIVERED. He did an incredible job of monitoring how the crowd was responding to the song and mixing into something else if they weren't feeling it, or letting it play longer if it got everyone moving. In addition to the quote in my recap, a true highlight of our wedding is when I took a brief break from the dance floor and found a groomsman chugging water and wiping his brow, saying "man, this DJ will not let us rest! Banger after banger!".

He is an absolutely incredible DJ, and an amazing value! Cannot recommend more highly!

Our DJ from Core Elite was amazing!!! They arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go. I did not have to worry about the music at all as they kept the music going and the dance floor full. They are super friendly and easy to work with. I added extra lights the day or two before our wedding and they accommodated no problem. I cannot recommend this DJ enough and am so happy we went with Core Elite Entertainment for our wedding!

Devin is awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, he was the ultimate professional. He was organized, calm, and completely in sync with our venue team, so we didn’t have to stress on our big day. His transitions, especially during the ceremony procession and the first dances, were absolutely perfect.

During the reception, the music was spot-on: a perfect blend of old and new songs with a great mix of all genres. Many people commented how they’ve never seen so many people dancing at a wedding. He had an amazing read on the room, knowing exactly when to switch things up to keep the energy going. The night flew by because we were all having such a blast. Devin at Core Elite Entertainment was great not only was he on time but professional in every sense of the word! He had his timeline and list of everything and stayed on it. He made sure that he played what we requested for our playlist for every part of our wedding. The list we gave him as far as the vibe of the reception he was able to execute that with no problem. It was great having him apart of our day and providing A-1 service. We really appreciate it and will recommend him to anyone! 10-10 satisfied!

My favorite part about our DJ was his professionalism and ability to go with the flow. Some things changed on the day of and he made room and never backed down from any challenges or changes. He made it work and kept the fun times going!

We thought: unless you’ve been to a DJ’s event, it’s going to be hard to know 100% if they will make or break your event. It’s really on faith that your DJ will show up and maximize your event’s flow and fun. But Devin’s best reviews were totally true- and I’m so grateful to be able to contribute another top review as well.

I want to do my part and assure you that Devin’s services were an absolute gift to us at our wedding. Nothing could have been improved in any small way.

Devin is an MC with a fine tuned sense of crowd control. We submitted some specific timings for ceremony songs and thankfully Devin knew to extend or shorten them when needed- like a psychic he just knew how to fill the unexpected delays. I (the groom) took waaay too long to greet my bride’s parents below the altar. Devin kept the music rolling and perfectly faded out when I finally get my bride up to our officiant, keeping the momentum alive. I can’t imagine how awkward or rushed it would have felt if the music stopped for 20 seconds before “dearly beloved…”

His equipment was tuned, connected, and clear throughout the whole night of ceremony and celebration. His musical intuition guaranteed we got every possible ounce of appropriate energy from each song. When the crowd started slowing down he’d fade immediately into the next, better song for the group dynamic. Some songs played longer, some shorter, and we never wanted to leave the dance floor. And we didn’t.

I can’t thank Devin enough- he is completely responsible for turning our dream wedding into the best party of our lives!
