Local to Clarkesville, Georgia, family-operated wedding venue and farm Copey Creek specializes in wedding ceremonies and receptions. Since 2016, the Copey Creek family has hosted and supported faith-based marriages, and endeavored to provide a beautiful, intimate environment with a rustic backdrop for their clients’ wedding day.

Facilities & Capacity

With over 300 acres of pasture, Copey Creek can comfortably serve up to 225 guests. The wedding venue offers a 3,000 square foot climate-controlled event barn and renovated farmhouse to service your wedding day needs. The barn boasts polished concrete floors, exposed beams, and string lighting, in addition to farm tables and crossback chairs. An additional 1,500 square feet of outdoor patio space provides the perfect view of the farm’s surrounding mountains. A prep kitchen is available for the use of your selected caterer, and the farmhouse serves as the bridal suite.

Services Offered

Copey Creek provides the same wedding package for all interested couples. Our unique package offers three-day access to the farm to ensure that you and your vendors have enough time to plan, design, implement, and remove all of your desired wedding elements. The cost of set up and take down of your tables and chairs is included in the package, in addition to on-site parking and two accompanying attendants. Areas in the barn are handicap accessable. Copey Creek is happy to work with any vendors of your choosing, though a list of recommended vendors is provided to all couples upon booking.

Easy and amazing venue

Kimberly is so nice and made everything so easy for us! There is only one wedding per weekend, so you don’t have to worry about having enough set up time. A big plus for us was that we could “customize” our entire wedding with the vendors that we chose, and everything about our day was perfect! The barn is beautiful, and the views are amazing!

We absolutely loved Copey Creek!

Finding our venue was the first task we set to work on when starting our wedding planning, which quickly became discouraging because of how expensive everywhere was and we wanted to have our dogs be a part of our wedding. My husband ended up finding them through google maps and as soon as we saw their webpage we were so excited! We soon met with Kimberly to see the place and right away we knew it was meant to be. We had our ceremony outside with the fields and mountains in the background and it was so beautiful. Our reception was in the barn, which is simple but so lovely. The only decorations we had were the flowers. We were extremely pleased that this venue only does 1 wedding per weekend, so we had the entire space from Friday morning through Sunday morning. This allowed us to completely decorate and set up and day before the wedding. This not only helped decrease any stress over the wedding weekend, but it felt so much more personal that the venue was ours. The only downside to this venue is there is not having a dedicated space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. Copey Creek was the absolute perfect venue for us and we are beyond happy we got married there.

Copey Creek was perfect

Copey Creek was hands down the best place for our wedding. We got engaged while living out of state so my mom was the one to make the initial visit to Copey Creek and after hearing her report, I knew it was the place for us. Kimberly is an absolute gem and was so wonderful to work with! She is so kind, easy going, and easy to get in touch with. She graciously allowed us to visit Copey Creek quite a few times during the planning process and offered some great suggestions. Many of our guests commented on what a lovely setting it was and having the family owned and operated touch made it so enjoyable! We were thrilled that we didn't have to rush in and rush out and we truly enjoyed the venue all weekend long. We'll cherish our sweet memories at Copey Creek forever!

Copey Creek's venue & team are perfect!

Copey Creek's staff are the kindest, most darling people. They are so wonderful about allowing you to come by the venue to plan and so easy to contact via text or however method. Their venue is absolutely beautiful and they are a wonderful team to work with that gives you the flexibility to have your event the way you want it, instead of giving you a booklet of rules to follow or vendors you must use, or times you have to stick with. They allow you to make your dream wedding come true.

Truly a beautiful venue

Copey Creek provided a beautiful venue for our big day! The space was lovely and the staff did their upmost to ensure we had a wonderful service. They were very helpful and accommodating. Wonderful place and wonderful people!

Perfect Venue For Me

Copey Creek is the perfect venue for someone who wants to make their wedding a whole weekend affair! They give the venue to you Friday-Sunday so you can truly enjoy it, all at the same price a lot of other venues charge you for the venue for 12 hours or so. I loved that I was able to have my rehearsal dinner there and brunch on Sunday all for the same venue cost as a Saturday wedding would be. This is a simple farmhouse venue- there isn't a ton of stuff included with the venue price, but they do have a good amount of things you can use like chargers, patio heaters, and hurricane vases. The venue has a wonderful bridal suite just a short drive up the gravel road, but does not have a groomsmen place to get ready. BUT an awesome Airbnb called Beacon Place is 0.7 miles away on Hardman Road and they host groomsmen all the time. My photographer was able to easily take the groomsmen photos over there!
I am so happy I found Copey Creek. Many of my guests loved the venue and asked me how I had found such a wonderful spot! You can see the mountains in the distance, and the farm is beautiful. Definitely consider Copey Creek for your wedding too ❤
