I absolutely loved working with Lisa Grimes (lisa@coastaleventdesigns.com). She provided floral design and day-of wedding coordination. For the floral design I wanted something simple and different. I got married on the beach and the reception was on a covered pavilion looking over the ocean, just a few miles away from Jekyll Island's driftwood beach. She had these branches that looked like driftwood and she put one on each table. She then had these cool apothecary bottles (probably about 4-5 per table) placed in and around the branch. And then she had shells all other kinds of cool beach things placed in as well. I loved them and the great part is they were actually more cost effective than a traditional floral arrangement at each table. I also used Lisa (and her husband Steve) for the day-of wedding coordination. I highly recommend it!! Their fee is very reasonable and the peace of mind it brought me was priceless. They were there when my rental company delivered the chairs, tables, linens, etc. and helped to make sure everything was properly set up (and were there until the end of the night to help clean everything up). They also took the time to set up some extra décor items that I had brought with me, as well as set the tables with menus, place settings, etc. At the end of the night, the bartenders left 30 minutes before they were supposed to (whoops!) and the DJ played 30 minutes longer than they were paid for (awesome!), which meant we had no bartenders for 1 hour. But I didn't even realize this was a problem because Lisa and Steve stepped up and started serving drinks right away. I cannot speak highly enough about them. They are amazing people - both personally and professionally. I'm so grateful I found them (luckily through word of mouth from another bride who also got married at the same venue - Great Dunes Pavilion next to the Jekyll Island Convention Center.)
