We had our reception at Clemson UMC and they were very accomodating. We were able to use the projection screen to run a slideshow during the reception, and the kitchen as a staging area for the caterers. Even though a worship service was going on in that room the next day, we were able to transform the space into our perfect reception venue. We were very happy with the accomodations and highly recommend this church as a reception venue.

Lane is a wonderful minister who spent a lot of time helping us plan our ceremony. He helped us come up with ideas about how to personalize the ceremony. He had one of the best ideas - I wanted all of our guests to be involved in the ceremony and it was a Christmas wedding so he suggested that everyone bring an ornament and that there be time during the ceremony when guests were able to hang their ornaments on a tree by the altar. His homily about the scripture we chose was very meaningful and memorable.
He also provided pre-marital counseling and is a great example of a Christian husband.
