Church & Temple Wedding Venues in South Carolina

We've been going to St. Michaels for years as a family and it just feels like home to us. We are lucky that our home church is so beautiful and historic and we felt so blessed to be married there. Memebers do get 1st choice, so if you are not a member, you will need to be willing ot go through all of the necessary steps to be married there, which I think is only right.

Summerall chapel was the perfect place for my husband and I to tie the knot. As a graduate of the citadel, he felt a strong connection to the venue, and I fell in love with the grandiose nature of the chapel, stained glass and beautiful wooden pews. Nancy Lefter, the coordinator, is incredible and we also had her as our organist (best decision ever!) she really made the ceremony and so many people raved about how incredible it was.

We had our reception at Clemson UMC and they were very accomodating. We were able to use the projection screen to run a slideshow during the reception, and the kitchen as a staging area for the caterers. Even though a worship service was going on in that room the next day, we were able to transform the space into our perfect reception venue. We were very happy with the accomodations and highly recommend this church as a reception venue.

Mark Husey did a wonderful job! He met with us before hand and played samples of the most popular choices. This took a large portion of his time, and he was so nice about it. He gave gentle recommendations without being stubborn about what he liked. He definitely wanted to make sure we were happy. The only reason flexibillty was 4 is because the Catholic Church overall has some limitations about what can be played, although their regulations are not that strict and totally understandable. After we met with him and picked the selections, he made recommendations for a soprano. He sang and played the piano and organ for the ceremony. I was very pleased! Everything sounded wonderful and I probably got more compliments on the music selections than anything else!

Its a beautiful church, with lots of room. With huge reception hall so you dont have to travel!

Thias was a great venue to have our wedding. we met there and attend this church, so it seemed only appropriate. with the flowers, it was just beautiful. we were also able to have our reception there, the cooking staff catered it.

Using Christian Life Assembly for my ceremony was an awesome experience. The venue is beautiful and inviting. The Wedding Ministry is not only helpful, but offer comfort, support, and a voice of reason! Kay Lewis was pheonominal and my wedding would not have been as stress free a day without her service! Kay is the coodinator is a part of the package when you book the church! Awesome Awesome Awesome!
