CJ's DJ's is awesome! We actually had to postpone our wedding for a year due to Covid, but they were super understanding, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process seamless. Scott was our DJ and he was amazing! He was very attentive and communicative the whole night and made sure our ceremony and reception flowed smoothly. He played all of our favorite hits and the dance floor was never empty! We had lots of compliments at the end of the night and I could not have asked for a better experience.

The most stressful part of wedding planning for me was probably the DJ: I’ve been to several weddings with empty dance floors, bad music, or DJs who just did their own thing--even when the bride or groom asked them to play something else. This was NOT the case with Chris. I’ve never seen a dance floor immediately fill up when dancing opened (seriously, there were like two people sitting) or stay full the whole night. The dance floor was so crowded that we had to ask the venue to blast the AC. At one point, my MOH abruptly left a conversation to run onto the dance floor, and I often saw people dancing at the bar while they waited for their drinks. One of our guests “complained” that he hated Chris because the music was too good and he never took a break from dancing. Our other complaint (this was a real one) was from a guest who said Chris had denied her request: when my husband asked him about it, Chris said he was happy to play it but he thought we wouldn’t want him to--and he was totally right! This wasn’t even a song on our “Do Not Play”; Chris just understood our vibe and stuck to it the entire night. I danced for almost three hours straight, which is exactly what I wanted from our wedding. It’s also worth noting that he cut our first dance song down by about two minutes and did such a good job that at first my husband thought he’d accidentally sent us the original file. If you want your wedding to be a big party with a packed dance floor, you should hire Chris.

I don't normally leave reviews but I feel the need to after our wedding on Saturday. Chris was amazing. As the groom I had a few major tasks in the wedding, one of which was selecting a DJ. I wanted someone who could do two things. 1) Play excellent music that we liked (and not play what we didn't like) and 2) Have complete control of the room as our wedding was pretty big. Chris went above and beyond in both categories and we could not have been happier. Planning the wedding can be stressful at times but Chris removed the stress from the ceremony and reception because we felt he had it all under control...And he did! There were, of course, some last minute changes and he handled them like they were part of the original plan. We could not have been happier with the choice we made and highly recommend Chris!

We hired CJ’s Disc Jockey service for our wedding. Chris was AMAZING to work with and he repeatedly went above and beyond to help us make our wedding exactly as we had dreamed it. Scott was our DJ for the night of our wedding and he was the best! He even took the time to come check on me and make sure everything was going as planned. Our guests had a blast dancing the night away. Everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t have asked for better service! We HIGHLY recommend working with CJ’s Disc Jockey service. They are the only way to go!

I honestly don't know where to begin in describing how incredible it was to work with Chris. From the first time we met, he was very easy to talk to and it was apparent he was willing to go the extra mile. He listened to what we wanted, made recommendations and gave advice based on his experience, and did everything humanly possible to ensure that we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. He helped make our day 100% perfect. I would recommend Chris to anyone - he will make your lives so much easier!

Chris was AMAZING. His attention to detail and creative mind made our ceremony and reception beautiful and fun. I planned most of my wedding while living in Minnesota, and he was always accessible by phone. We have had a lot of compliments about our wedding. Most people said that they had a lot of fun dancing. Chris played a fun variety of songs and kept the party going all night. If you are looking for a DJ, I cannot recommend Chris enough.

Talk about getting a party started and keeping it going for the whole night! Chris was absolutely fantastic, from helping us plan and pick songs to ensuring we always had a drink and that no one left the dance floor, he is truly an amazing person and DJ! He truly did everything he could to ensure our reception was everything we wanted. We had asked our photo booth company to project the pictures onto the stage and Chris ran out to Best Buy just before the reception to buy the right cords so they could make it happen. We could not have been more happy with the music, uplighting and the friend we made with Chris. I was referred to CJ's Disc Jockey Service through a friend who was in the wedding business. After my initial e-mail, Chris Johnson (the owner), called me that evening and spoke to me on the phone for almost 45 minutes about our event and our likes and dislikes with DJ's. The personal attention we received was hands down the reason we went with CJ's DJ's. We were not sorry. We received amazing service from Chris up until the week before the wedding when we were introduced to the actual DJ we would be using at our wedding reception. He was friendly and accommodating and really listened to the way we wanted our day laid out. We let the DJ play most of the music just feeling out the crowd. We didn't choose too many "must play" songs, and he did a great job. Our dance floor was filled all night long. He really knew how to feel the crowd and make everyone happy. Couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

WOW! We had our initial meet-n-greet where we got to know each other and discuss services offered and what we needed. As we planned the details of the ceremony & reception, we were able to input requests and other information into our own personalized page within his database. This put our minds at ease because we could "change our answers" so to speak-it really put us in control. Chris was exceptional the day of our wedding. He was very interactive with the staff and was willing to help were support was needed. He even carried my plate to the head table for me-how chivalrous. Throughout dinner, he took drink orders for the wedding party and made sure we were well taken care of. He even helped the caterer breakdown the serving tables when it was time to transition into dancing. I really could go on-an-on. Chris was very mindful of what we wanted and delivered so much more than we could ever imagine. We hired Chris to DJ our wedding but we got so much more than that!

If you are looking for a DJ look no further—CJ’s is the best around! CJ’s was my favorite vendor to work with during my entire wedding planning process. They were easy to work with, organized, sent me updated contracts/invoices the entire process, and Chris was always available to answer questions.
Mike was the DJ for our wedding, and he is awesome! He kept things flowing and on time. He kept the party going so much that we kept him an extra hour. The equipment they use is top notch, and the up lighting transformed the entire reception.
Both guys are wonderful, and I look forward to working with CJ’s Disc Jockey Service in the future.
