Paul did an exceptional job at my wedding. He was responsive in emails and allowed us to pick song lists for him to play. He worked with us to shorten our first dance song and sounded perfect. Highly recommend his services.

Paul at CityBeatz was so friendly, helpful, easy-going, and he understood exactly the kind of music genres we wanted based on just a couple of conversations! His planning guide was a lifesaver, and he was so responsive to all my questions and changes that I made (even up to the day of the wedding!). He never failed to answer all my emails, and he was so accommodating. I cannot recommend his services enough! An excellent DJ and really nice person!

Paul worked magic during our reception, and the ceremony was beautiful! I probably barely gave him enough suggestion to go on for the dance music but he nailed our personalities down and made the reception amazing! He knew just when to slow it down or pick it back up, and I absolutely recommend him!

We cannot say enough how much we loved having Citybeatz as our DJ. As a reviewer, I am always skeptical of 5/5 ratings, but they really were top notch. Paul responded quickly to our initial requests and made the entire process simple. He has a song checklist that lists every event that might need a song. He also edited a song we could use for the first dance! Paul could tell our crowd was into dancing, so he kept the party going. We were a bit off schedule, but he accommodated to fit our needs. Absolutely worth it!

Paul and Jose are wonderful! They met with me to go over the plan before the wedding and helped me make decisions that I was worried about (when to cut the cake, when to do the dances, etc). Paul is not pushy and wont force you do anything. He waits until you suggest it and then tells you what he has seen work best. LISTEN TO HIM! The day of they where perfect! He sat up without me even knowing he was there. We were at the Botanical Gardens and we were flipping it from ceremony to reception. Paul and Jose jumped right in to help without being ask!The up lighting was perfect and added the perfect touch to the venue, the music kept people on the dance floor and having fun, and Paul kept me on track. I got so caught up in talking to people that he would remind me that we needed to cut the cake, do the toast, etc. Everything was perfect thanks to them! I can't recommend them enough! Not to mention they are so reasonable!

Citybeatz is great! They made great suggestions not only for the music but also for practical details of the wedding. They did the music for both the ceremony and reception and all of my guests said great things about it. Also, they are the only DJ service I could find that are experienced with Latin music! They did a great job combining several styles for my bilingual crowd. They also did the lighting. Additionally, they were a great value (very reasonable pricing), unlike a few other extremely overpriced DJs in the area.

Paul was a joy to work with, from the first phone call, to a great planning meeting, to the actual reception. Paul was a calm and knowledgeable sorce of information regarding various logistics (outdoor ceremony, challenging venue). His packet of information to guide the bride and groom through the music selection process was so thorough and professional. Most importantly, he did a great job as DJ; the floor stayed lively for nearyl four hours. Our entire family gives him a hearty thumbs-up.
