    Exceptional DJ

    Paul did an exceptional job at my wedding. He was responsive in emails and allowed us to pick song lists for him to play. He worked with us to shorten our first dance song and sounded perfect. Highly recommend his services.

    Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

    Paul at CityBeatz was so friendly, helpful, easy-going, and he understood exactly the kind of music genres we wanted based on just a couple of conversations! His planning guide was a lifesaver, and he was so responsive to all my questions and changes that I made (even up to the day of the wedding!). He never failed to answer all my emails, and he was so accommodating. I cannot recommend his services enough! An excellent DJ and really nice person!

    Paul is the best!

    Paul worked magic during our reception, and the ceremony was beautiful! I probably barely gave him enough suggestion to go on for the dance music but he nailed our personalities down and made the reception amazing! He knew just when to slow it down or pick it back up, and I absolutely recommend him!

    We cannot say enough how much we loved having Citybeatz as our DJ. As a reviewer, I am always skeptical of 5/5 ratings, but they really were top notch. Paul responded quickly to our initial requests and made the entire process simple. He has a song checklist that lists every event that might need a song. He also edited a song we could use for the first dance! Paul could tell our crowd was into dancing, so he kept the party going. We were a bit off schedule, but he accommodated to fit our needs. Absolutely worth it!

    Paul and Jose are wonderful! They met with me to go over the plan before the wedding and helped me make decisions that I was worried about (when to cut the cake, when to do the dances, etc). Paul is not pushy and wont force you do anything. He waits until you suggest it and then tells you what he has seen work best. LISTEN TO HIM! The day of they where perfect! He sat up without me even knowing he was there. We were at the Botanical Gardens and we were flipping it from ceremony to reception. Paul and Jose jumped right in to help without being ask!The up lighting was perfect and added the perfect touch to the venue, the music kept people on the dance floor and having fun, and Paul kept me on track. I got so caught up in talking to people that he would remind me that we needed to cut the cake, do the toast, etc. Everything was perfect thanks to them! I can't recommend them enough! Not to mention they are so reasonable!

    Citybeatz is great! They made great suggestions not only for the music but also for practical details of the wedding. They did the music for both the ceremony and reception and all of my guests said great things about it. Also, they are the only DJ service I could find that are experienced with Latin music! They did a great job combining several styles for my bilingual crowd. They also did the lighting. Additionally, they were a great value (very reasonable pricing), unlike a few other extremely overpriced DJs in the area.

    Paul was a joy to work with, from the first phone call, to a great planning meeting, to the actual reception. Paul was a calm and knowledgeable sorce of information regarding various logistics (outdoor ceremony, challenging venue). His packet of information to guide the bride and groom through the music selection process was so thorough and professional. Most importantly, he did a great job as DJ; the floor stayed lively for nearyl four hours. Our entire family gives him a hearty thumbs-up.

    Paul from citybeatz was a joy to work with. He made our planning simple even over long distances! He suggested timeline ideas that ended up working perfectly for our wedding reception. He played all the songs we requested and greatly pleased the dancing crowd with his other selections. I would highly recommend his services for any occasion!

    There are simply not enough positive, happy, or pleased adjectives in the English language to express how Rory and I feel about CityBeatz (nor are there enough exclamation marks)! Paul and Jose are two of the most wonderful people we have met, and we cannot imagine how differently our wedding would have turned out, had we not chosen CityBeatz. These two went above and beyond what one would expect from a DJ service, so very far beyond that they were absolutely integral to the ceremony (and reception's) success. We provided Paul with a rather eclectic and somewhat unusal list of music we wanted to have played, and he came through to a tee, not only using what we'd requested, but very intuitively picking up on our musical likes and dislikes, and choosing an amazing reception play list with songs we couldn't have chosen any better ourselves. We were simply amazed. CityBeatz has an attractive setup, top of the line equipment, and a perfect sense of timing and a feel for the group with which they are working. We could truly go on all day about how much we appreciate, respect, and RECCOMMEND CityBeatz' Paul and Jose, and how special they made our October 2011 wedding, but you'll see for yourself when you book them! Thanks so much, you two!

    In June 2011 we hired Citybeatz to DJ our wedding reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! They did an amazing job with our music and kept everyone dancing. They even got out on the floor to give us a couple of dancing lessons (: Paul & Jose are wonderful and I highly suggest hiring Citybeatz today!

    Citibeatz DJ Paul and partner were Fantastic! They did an amazing job with our music and kept everyone dancing. Paul was professional, friendly and flexible. I would highly recommend him, price was right and cannot say enough how wonderful he was. Thank you Paul.

    I was so happy with Citybeatz DJ. Paul was extremely easy to work with and he went above and beyond to give me the day I wanted. We only had 2 meetings but I got everything I could ever want from a DJ. I put together a photo slide show and sent it to Paul and he made sure it was played as guests arrived to the reception. He also did the uplighting for our wedding which made our venue look AWESOME! We were going for a wintery-ice theme and he uplit the room in blue and I had so many compliments! His choice of music was perfect for the age group of guests we had. He also started out the night with more easy listening and then brought up the tempo as the night went on. My guests had a BLAST! He is very orgainized so he gave me paperwork to fill out with songs I wanted and didn't want and he stuck with what I wanted. He also helped me determine the order of everything during the wedding. My only complaint is he recommended cutting the cake really early so older people could leave but I regretted doing it so soon because a lot of guests didn't even see the cake and it was STUNNING. But overall Paul was amazing to work with and was worth every penny!

    Paul was OUTSTANDING!!!! He emailed/contacted us in GREAT time. He made suggestions that we would have never thought of when planning. There were two DJs at the wedding (which I absolutely loved!), he worked with all of our song choices, created mash-ups, and edited songs for us! Paul worked with what he could and made the best of everything for our special night, he even chatted with the guests (he explained to our aunt what the 'Stanky Leg' was haha!). Hands down, if we need a DJ again, we will be contacting Paul from CityBeatz!!!!!!
