This Gazebo at Daffin Park was so beautiful, very nice setting for a small intimate wedding or event.

The people at the Leisure Services office were kind and helpful. The price for renting a park for an event is certainly reasonable compared to prices elsewhere. There were several restrictions in place regarding setting up chairs, tents, and things. It is required that you pay a policeman to be present during your entire event to ensure that you don't damage the park in any way or break with city policies. However, electricity is free!

Let me state that I LOVED the square we got married in. Everything was perfect, except dealing with the man who is in charge of renting the squares. He was not very easy to work with and made everything much more confusing than need be. If you asked for a list of available squares, he sent you a list of squares taken with very little (if any) explanation on what he was sending. He was the most stressful part of my wedding planning experience...SO I didn't make out that bad :-) However, the officer that patrolled our square was AMAZING! He was so sweet and tried to blend in. He was true southern hospitality. It is well worth getting married and any of the beautiful squares in Savannah! I am so happy I did! It was beautiful!
