You MUST get this band for your wedding if a live band is a priority. Huge playlist, amazing sound, highly interactive group. They had the groom and groomsmen on stage for a song as well as the bride and bridesmaid. They helped MC the first dance and the father/daughter dance. When the changeover took longer than planned, they were flexible and brought energy and AMAZING sound for 3 hrs with only one short break. City Heat absolutely made our wedding reception. Not only did they kill it the night of, they were very easy to work with leading up to the event. Additionally, they learned two songs for us and allowed one of my friends to sing our first dance along with them. I would recommend this band any day!

The spirit of our wedding was first Jesus and then you guys and us and it was seriously the most amazing time of our lives. Will and I love to dance and sing and You guys gave us that opportunity to fully let loose! We have a 6 month old baby and we have been through hell and back this past year and so we had really prayed about just making this about us and getting that time just to breathe and love on each other AND YOU GAVE US THAT.

CITY HEAT! There are no words besides WOW. I am a wedding planner in Charleston and let me just say, I have worked with hundreds of bands and City Heat exploded the room with energy, charisma, talent and incredible music. My bride and groom were OVER THE MOON. You could not get people off the dance floor. From a professional stand point they were so communicative, easy going, flexible and incredible accommodating to all the tweaks and turns that happen in any wedding day. Thank you City Heat. It was TRULY a blessing and I am incredibly thankful!

City Heat performed at our wedding on May 20th at the Four Seasons in Atlanta. We had the larger 13 piece ensemble. I saw their promo videos and was impressed but nothing can prepare you for how good they are in person! Not only do they have incredible vocals, but they are just plain FUN and extremely professional. The leading ladies are incredible- they somehow convinced me and my bridesmaids to do an impromptu performance of "Say my Name" by Beyonce in front of the whole crowd and it was one of the most hilarious and memorable events of the night. The gentleman were just as noteworthy from their extremely chic tuxes (the whole group was dressed extremely well and fit into the black tie wedding perfectly) and incredible vocals to their ability to keep the crowd engaged, they were awesome! The band was also able to learn a few songs specifically for our wedding, including Fly me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra which I know can't be easy to learn, and this made our night extra special. They were great announcers, making sure everything from our first introduction as a couple to the father/daughter dance and cake cutting flowed flawlessly. I think the most important aspect is that they really read the crowd in order to keep the (rather large) dance floor completely full all night. People skipped dessert so that they could get out and dance- it really was fun to watch. From hip hop to old school to 80s hits, they knew what people wanted to hear and kept everyone entertained at a very mixed age wedding with many young 20-somethings all the way to the very oldest people in the crowd even without playing any of what I consider the "cheesy" wedding songs per my request- electric slide, cupid shuffle, etc- they weren't even needed because City Heat knew how to keep the party going! They also were able to pull the keyboard player to play during our cocktail hour which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend them and am so so glad we had them at our wedding. Thank you!
