There is nothing quite like the romance of a vineyard. Just 30 minutes from Sacramento, located in the stunning country of El Dorado county, you will find Cielo Estate Winery. Nestled among beautiful vineyards and majestic oaks, Cielo offers an enchanting setting for wedding and special events.

At Cielo. we are passionate about our craft and dedicated to delivering the perfect experience for you and your guests. Big or small, casual or elegant, we pride ourselves on superbly tailored celebrations, flawlessly executed, with succulent catering...and spectacular wines to toast your future.

Originally this location was home to the Hodgkin and Spinardi families dating back to the late 1800s where the Victorian house still stands flawlessly restored and serves as a guest house and venue for small private functions.

There are 17.8 acres of vineyards currently planted to Rhone and Italian varietals that also serve as a wonderful backdrop for weddings and events.

My wedding was at Cielo Estate at the end of May. The experience was above and beyond any expectation I could have imagined. After a rocky start (with old owners and wedding coordinators), the new owners and coordinator, Wanda, took over and made everything absolutely perfect. Wanda was present the entire weekend of the wedding, calling to confirm details with me the day before, and there for anything we needed the day of the wedding. I felt relaxed knowing that Wanda was there to help with everything. She was also there throughout the entire wedding, behind the bar, in the kitchen, and all around making sure all was good. She even brought us our first glass of wine the moment we sat down :) Long story short - you will not regret booking a wedding with Cielo! Not to mention, the grounds are beautiful and the wine is amazing! Thank you, Cielo and Wanda, for everything!

We had our daughter's wedding at Cielo in late June. We were very impressed with the responsiveness of Rami and her staff. The venue is beautiful. ..many great places for pictures. The only negative was it was a bit hot at the reception. .they have air conditioner but it couldn't keep up with the heat that day. I researched many venues for my daughter and think that Cielo was the best.

Incredible venue - our event planner (also the incredible chef) was wonderful and accommodating. She was completely attentive, mellow, and confident with lots of creative ideas. I loved her attitude and approach, and her management of our wedding day was perfect. The venue itself is also gorgeous. Thank you!

My husband and I couldn't have been more happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out. Carrie and her staff is amazing. They took our vision for our wedding and made it come to life exactly how I imaged. Carrie was so accommodating and willing to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it. We heard from numerous guests that our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to, we couldn't have accomplished this without Cielo Estate, Carrie and her hard working crew!

The winery was gorgeous in September and there were so many areas for amazing photos! We were able to book before the prices went up and got a great price for the value! The appetizers had a beautiful presentation. The dinner food was average. The coordinator at the venue was also the chef so had a lot on her plate leading up to the day; I recommend having a wedding planner or coordinator to help keep all details organized. Due to a miscommunication our band and wedding was cut short. Overall good experience though. Very fun venue and good wine!
