We absolutely loved working with Christina and our beautiful wedding photos! We found Christina through a recommended vendor list from our wedding venue, Vizcaya Sacramento. We loved her style of candid, natural, joyful photos. Her pictures speak for themselves, so here's a few things that you can't see in the photos. I can’t say enough about how awesome Christina’s communication is. She was the most responsive vendor (text, email, phone) - always providing helpful information about her process, what to expect, and even input on how certain clothing/makeup choices would show up on camera. Christina is super positive, enthusiastic, and supportive. She loves to build you up and get excited for/about her couples, which makes working with her really fun. I think she genuinely loves love, which makes her a perfect wedding photographer. The engagement session was a great way to get comfortable with her and in front of the camera, and to learn which poses we preferred. 

On the wedding day itself (May 2024), she was the first vendor to arrive (she got there early) and her presence was generally a comfort during the getting-ready time. She really works hard during the event itself to capture everything. She's very organized in terms of knowing what groupings to photograph and what our priorities were in terms of capturing the day. We got all the shots we wanted, and loved how they came out. She delivered both the engagement and wedding photos faster than we expected, which was amazing. We booked Christina based on a family members recommendation and we met her the day of our wedding, crazy right? We were were BLOWN AWAY! Christina's personality is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable the entire night, like we were running around with a friend! And the photos, they turned out amazing! Where to start? She's AMAZING! I came to know Christina and her work through a highly trusted family member attending our wedding. Christina's gallery showcased exactly the style and realness within her photos that I was searching for.

We chose a package for our small, intimate wedding of under 45 guests hosted at the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley. We met during our engagement shoot in Sacramento. Meeting her in person was great. She is so cheerful, happy and genuinely kind. Her personality was also a joy to have around to keep energy high and excited. She wanted to celebrate our love and unity as much as we did.

The day of the wedding, she floated around and I didn't even know she was there. She captured SO many wonderful moments and made sure each attendee was featured. The detailed images, the candidate, the ceremony, reception, I could go on and on about our day. Christina even followed us for on last chance on the bridal balcony between the rain. She made the Wilson wedding timeless! I'll forever look at these pictures and think nothing but love!

Christina Best Thomas was truly a blessing to our wedding day. I don't know many married couples who can say that their photographer made them feel as relaxed and happy as she made us. Christina was also good at blending in because a lot of the shots were pleasant surprises of candid with laughing guests or children playing. She has a wonderful eye and a delightful spirit. She was so positive and uplifting the entire day (she made every moment so easy and fun)! She was quick to get us the final prints and even asked for our favorites. I loved that she allowed us to have input with the photos we loved. She was very responsive and made our day look so beautiful. She even printed out my top favorites and put them into a beautiful box that I still peek through from time to time. My mother and mother in law also enjoyed going through them. She offers many services as well. I need to contact her again for a large print of the family photo! I never knew that it took so much work to get the right quality of print. She is definitely experienced and worth every penny. I would recommend her to any bride.
