Chester Valley Golf Club is home to a stunning ballroom with a capacity for 275 guests. The floor-length windows and elegant French doors offer views of the impeccable grounds. The elegant interior comprises ornate gold light fittings, and the cream color palette extends to the carpets and the ceiling, adding to the refined ambiance. Couples can choose to exchange vows close to the waterfront, flanked by expansive fairways. The outdoor terrace offers a bird’s-eye view of the golf course and features a tranquil pond complete with a classic fountain. History

Before Chester Valley Golf Club was established in 1923, the surrounding area was predominated by the influence of Swedish fur traders. Since then, it has survived the Great Depression and a fire that destroyed the clubhouse in 1950. From the mid-80s to the mid-90s, the prestigious golf club played host to the PGA Tour.

CVGC Wedding Venue

We are so happy we chose CVGC for both our wedding venue! All of the staff were very professional, organized, and responsive. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and work diligently to deliver--especially the challenges of COVID-19. Alex Cubbage did a fantastic job as our Events Coordinator and brought everything together to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. I highly recommend CVGC as a wedding venue to other couples!

Just wow! (Why is it saying I need more characters? That says it all.)

The venue is beautiful and the food is excellent, but what MOST sets Chester Valley Golf Club apart is the professionalism and dedication of their staff. They were all cheerful and efficient, and everything from the signs and favors to the table arrangements and sparklers were properly placed at just the right time. Tina is an absolute DREAM to work with (note to management: do not ever let this lady get away)! We had a very young flower girl and ring bearer, and Tina was perfect in coaching and encouraging them with just the right touch to inspire them to fulfill their roles with confidence. She made sure the delicate decorations were moved from place to place according to plan and was brilliant in coaching us through the millions of questions we had. When we went to retrieve all our stuff the next day, the staff had carefully collected all our belongings for us (including the missing cuff links and dress ribbons) and stored them securely. A terrific experience from start to finish. Thank you, CVGC!

Beautiful Venue & Amazing Team!!

Chester Valley made our wedding day absolutely perfect & everything I ever wanted in a wedding!! Tina & Elisa were fantastic to work with from the second we met them. They were always easy to get a hold, answered any questions we had along the way, made us feel at welcome & made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about the week leading up/day of our wedding. They honestly made the reception part of wedding planning as stress-less as possible :) The second we arrived at the venue for pictures (which has some stunning spots for by the way), we were welcomed by a staff member showing us where our bridal suite was & if we needed anything. The room and decorations were beautiful & exactly how we envisioned with Elisa and Sarah there the whole day to make sure everything ran smoothly! My husband and I could have not asked for a more perfect day & we have the whole Chester Valley staff to thank for a large part of that!! Hearing from our guests, they would also agree with us (great food, staff & party), as we are still hearing compliments almost 3 weeks later. Would 10 out 10 recommend them to any bride if you want a seamless and great team to work with while planning your wedding!! So so happy we choose them as our wedding venue!

Cannot say enough good things about Tina, Abby, and the rest of the staff at Chester Valley. Tina was a God-send for us on our wedding day and we simply cannot imagine it without her! She is a huge asset for Chester Valley and made sure that everything went so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing!

The best part of our wedding planning was working with Tina and everyone at Chester Valley. They went out of their way to make the day special and personal. Tina kept everything running on schedule and was very easy to work with via email beforehand. Some of the things that I loved: they had a special wedding party/bridal lounge where the family and wedding party could eat lunch during pictures before the ceremony. In the 30 minutes between our ceremony and reception, my husband and I relaxed back there with our wedding party while Debbie brought us drinks and appetizers. During the cocktail hour, they came up and asked what appetizers we needed, etc. The little touches they gave us and our wedding party, from bringing drinks to our table so no one had to go to the bar to holding our stuff over night so we didn't have to take it all home that night, made the whole evening so easy. I WOULDN'T HAVE CHANGED A THING!

We highly recommend this venue for anyone who is interested in having a beautiful backdrop in their photos and an amazing staff to work with! Amy, Christina, and Andrew worked with us over the past year, always promptly answering our many questions. They were very flexible - letting us do our tasting 9 months ahead of time, frequently updating our seating arrangements, and making last minute changes for us. And if we couldn't have been any more impressed, they wowed us with their flawless organization on the wedding day. They practically anticipated our needs before we even verbalized them! The wedding day went incredibly smoothly and a lot of that is due to the staff of Chester Valley. To them we are grateful for a perfect day!

My husband and I chose Chester Valley Golf Club for our ceremony and reception, and I could not have been happier with our experience. The event managers are so nice and very knowledgeable, and they were flexible to meet our every need. The food was incredible and consistent for each guest; everything was delicious and came out hot. So many of our guests are still raving about the food and the fun weeks later! The bar and table service was fast and friendly, and the staff made sure everyone had a great time. We also had our rehearsal dinner here, and it was delicious and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend this venue!

This is why I would recommend Chester Valley Golf Club for your wedding reception. First off, let me say that I have worked wedding receptions at a fine dining establishment for 27 years, so when my daughter got engaged last year, I already had certain criteria that I wanted for her special day.
When I walked onto the grounds of Chester Valley, I was impressed immediately with the beautiful landscape of the club overlooking the manicured golf course with pond and fountains and the carriage house that sat on the grounds as well. I knew it would make a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures. I was even more delighted when I walked into the club itself and saw the beautiful and traditional décor and also the lovely stair cases that led to the second floor. I immediately thought if there was bad weather for pictures on the outside grounds it didn't matter, because the inside was also so very pretty and formal for taking pictures as well.
Next I walked upstairs to look at the ballroom and reception area. Again I was impressed with the size of the ballroom and its traditional look and class. I loved the way the atrium doors opened up to a balcony that overlooked the grounds, where guests could go in and out as they wanted. Having windows to the outside was a perk that I really wanted. I also loved the bar area and restaurant where the cocktail hour was held before the reception. Most important was how roomy everything felt. I never felt crowded, which to me is very important.
Again, I had high expectations for the food, since I have worked in the industry for so long. And I was not disappointed. The hors d orves were amazing and trendy. There were many to choose from. The dinner choices were equally delicious and well prepared. The staff was efficient and friendly.
Most importantly, my experience with the managers of Chester Valley, were very positive. From the moment we first looked at the club, I never felt pressured into making a quick decision. Whenever I had q

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to the entire Chester Valley staff. Despite a slight delay with food (which our guests didn't even notice) everything went off without a hitch. Deb was so great to work with and she made sure everything was setup as we hoped for. I'd recommend this venue to anyone and am looking forward to being future members with my husband!

As with any Country Club the prices are slightly inflated. However, Andrew and his staff provided the most exceptional service I have ever received in organizing an event. They acted as if we were the only thing the club had going on in the three months leading up to our wedding reception. We sat down in a conference room several months out and had a consultation that would rival the war room at the U.S. department of defense. Every detail was covered, every option given to us. They even went as far as offering to take pictures off the wall that we didn't like and allowing us to add our own decor. Perfection.
