Friendly and artistic

Kayhan was AMAZING!!! She is very professional, timely and artistic. Kayhan took her time to make sure my hair was in place and my makeup was picture ready. I enjoyed getting to know her in the short amount of time and I would highly recommend her for your wedding. I met her in her salon since it was close to my hotel and it was clean, organized and comfortable. Thank you, Kayhan, for making me feel beautiful and your beautiful work on my hair and makeup!

Kayhan was so nice and I think her prices based on the Monterey wedding market were pretty fair. Kahyan's hair and makeup quality was excellent, I was very happy with her work. She recently moved and is now working out of Studio 519.

Not what I expected

I went to my trial. She is a nice lady. I had sent her my face and full hair pics. And inspo pics weeks in advance. She didn’t know how to braids. I had told do my own braids. Tried to talk me out of what I want. I had told her I had previos problems with other makeup artists because they left my skin so dry. She went rouge and did my makeup the opposite of what I want. Eye shadow was silver glitter, for eyebrows she did strokes and foundation was dry and patchy. Under eyes were dark and heavy makeup. She took about 5 hours. She tried charging me $50 more than confirm price. Then the next day she texted me with raised prices and travel fees leading up to $150 to travel one mile..

Stressful Experience

The person actually left for home when she wasn't able to get in the property. After asking her to come back she said she only would come if their wasn't any weird feeling because I told her to honk when she got there. What? We were running behind and she works slowly. My bridesmaid wasn't able to get her makeup done but she was made to pay for it anyway,saying its not my fault there wasn't time. She did do a good job on my hair and makeup but the whole thing was stressful

Canceled 2 weeks before wedding

She did a trial hair and makeup for me which I realized was not for me and my partner said it was he hated it. I texted her that I wanted something more natural and also my hair style fell apart after an hour she didn't respond to any of my requests.She told me she wanted to come at 10am for a 4pm wedding and I said that was too early I had 3 bridesmaids who also wanted makeup I told her my hair amd makeup would be quicker because I wanted a more simpler look and if she couldn't do all the bridesmaids it was okay as I have a friend who could help out. She canceled 2 weeks before my wedding and now no one is available She said she needed surgery but I don't believe that I think she canceled because I wouldn't do what she wanted
