Charis coordinated and participated in providing the music for before and directly after the ceremony of our son and daughter-in-law's wedding, and we couldn't have been more pleased! The music was beautiful and exactly the style we had dreamed of. The communications were direct and timely, options were offered when we had little to offer, and the group was accommodating on every request. Love love love what was done to make our beautiful day complete.

Charis was outstanding! She was very easy to contact and she responded very quickly. She went out of her way and worked around her schedule to meet with us so we could hear her play some of the songs we wanted in the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Hearing her play the piano gave me goosebumps! Amazing!!!

Charis provided music for our high school alumni banquet. After just a couple of email exchanges, she was able to fill the gym with the perfect selection of music during the social hour and dinner. I won Charis's services from a local silent auction and asked her to provide background music at our work holiday luncheon. She responded quickly to my request, communicated clearly, arrived on time and was very pleasant in person. She sounded beautiful on the keyboard and everyone thought she was great!

Charis did not play traditional music for our wedding per my request. She found the music (bands) for me and played everything beautifully. It was amazing how many people commented that they enjoyed hearing songs they knew. She played imagine by john Lennon for bridal party entry and this moved several people to tears. She cued all music perfectly and was able to drag out songs if necessary. Her playing skills are wonderful. Highly recommend.

Charis was great and everyone at Homecare By Design loved her! She was super professional and came hours before our event just to set up and make sure everything was okay. She is amazingly talented on the computer and has a wonderful voice. I have already contacted her again in regards to giving my toddler piano lessons. I would recommend her to anyone who needs lessons or live entertainment for a party!

Mrs. Vander Plaats has been our choral accompanist for the past four years at Southwestern Middle School. We are so grateful to have a quality accompanist for our program. The students benefit from the excellent technique and musicality of her playing, and from her warm, caring demeanor she exhibits to them. She is always punctual and I appreciate her consistent communication. Mrs. Vander Plaats is extremely easy to work with and we do not know what we would do without her! I only wish we could have her full-time!
