I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily and Jake Mitchum of Summer Daze Photography. Dennis was absolutely the picture of professionalism. He had a wonderful walk-through with us during our rehearsal for my son‘s wedding and did a beautiful job capturing sweet simple moments and important moments during my son‘s wedding in September so much that we hired him for our wedding in March.. for our simple ceremony on the beach. He was so good with the lighting the backdrops, making sure that everyone looked beautiful and capturing again that essence of our family. We adore the work that Dennis has done for us and these two events that we have actually booked him for our daughter‘s wedding in September I feel at this point he might as well be part of the family you would not go wrong with choosing Dennis as long as you have open communications with him he is very understanding and understands detail with a little direction, he can take your images a long way.

Seth was amazing to work with! He helped us finalize our elopement by suggesting a great location in St. Augustine to fit our needs during our ceremony and locations thereafter for pictures. During our time together he listened to our wants, while also suggesting his own ideas! Seth proved to be exactly what we were looking for. We’ve received so many compliments on our pictures. To include: they belong in a magazine and they look like a fairytale! He captured both our personalities and special moments with a softness I can not explain. If you are looking for a photographer.. look no further!

Full transparency, I hired Tyler and the team before being branded under Pretty Good Visuals; but I do not feel this discounts or overshadows my experience in any way. I hired Marianne for my proposal photoshoot in Saint Augustine during the Night of Lights. From the start, she was very informative and helpful in the planning process weeks in advance. I was supposed to propose on a Saturday evening, but expected rain changed the plan to late afternoon. The day of the proposal the forecast changed greatly and the proposal now needed to be in the early afternoon (stressful!!). But through all of this Marianne was amenable to changes and was very responsive. The proposal went off without a hitch and she took photos my fiance and I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Marianne for making our special day even more special!

We had the absolute best experience with Southern Palms Studio for our wedding photography and videography. From start to finish, everything felt organized, easy, and truly special. On the day of the wedding, our photographer Kelsey and videographer Shaun were incredible. Kelsey made the entire photography experience feel so natural and relaxed. She gave great direction when we needed it but also captured so many genuine moments without making anything feel staged. Her calm, positive energy really helped the whole day flow smoothly, and she somehow managed to be everywhere at once capturing all the little moments that made the day so meaningful. Shaun was just as amazing on the video side. He blended in so seamlessly but was always in the perfect spot to capture the big moments and the small emotional ones too. Watching them work together was impressive! They were clearly a great team and made everything feel effortless. When we received our sneak peeks, we were blown away. The photos are absolutely stunning and truly captured the feeling of the day. Looking through them felt like reliving our wedding day all over again. If you’re looking for a photography and video team that is professional, talented, and genuinely cares about capturing your day in a meaningful way, we cannot recommend Southern Palms Studio enough.
