This venue is located 13 minutes from Winona State University, and approximately two-and-a-half hours from downtown Minneapolis.
Facilities and Capacity
This traditional red barn for a couple’s wedding welcomes up to 300 attendees. Couples can have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony on this farm. A scenic outdoor ceremony location features a brown wedding pergola over the couple’s heads and rolling bluffs in the background. Each bluff is covered in leafy green trees, trailing off into the distance to the place where they meet the open blue sky. An old metal windmill stands off to the side of this venue, adding a touch of rustic charm to the ceremony. The barn has all the beauty needed for the reception. A three-story structure, this tall barn has all of the traditional features from the outside, including a gabled roof, white accents, red walls, and barn doors. There is even a pair of silos standing stoically beside this wedding venue. Inside, the barn space makes the perfect area for dancing the night away. White walls and ceiling beams make the space feel bright and open, with light coming in from windows and the wide barn doors. Overhead, market lights shine. For larger receptions, couples find it more comfortable to seat guests for dinner under the pavilion next to the barn. This open-air space provides a roof over guests’ heads and plenty of space to feast before heading into the barn for the rest of the night.

Cedar Creek Barn Review
I want to note that the following item is not a complaint by any means, more so an observation we had that may help improve an already great venue. The mice and the bats in the barn had a few of our guests grossed out. We did have bat droppings on our tables that we set up Friday night. Again, not complaining, but just an observation. It's a barn so I know there is not much that can be done to completely eradicate those types of pests. It did not take anything away from the venue for us, and I would still recommend Cedar Creek Barn.

The only hang up is that there isn't any electrical at the top of the hill, but you can get creative with sound/music. If I had to do it all over again, I would keep the same location. We received many compliments about how beautiful our location was and everyone loved the fact that everything was in one place. We had 160 people and we had more than enough space. This place is amazing!
