Catering DSM did a fabulous job catering our wedding at the Temple for Performing Arts! Sarah is extremely professional, easy to communicate with, and has been such an amazing vendor to work with while planning a wedding during a pandemic. She really made this whole experience so much easier and was extremely flexible with our constantly changing plans. What made us appreciate Catering DSM so much more was how considerate they were of us having to transition from a 200+ people wedding to less than 30, waiving any previously established food and drink minimums. We are well aware that there are plenty of venues out there who have not been so flexible, so we are truly grateful for this.

The food was amazing, and we loved how customizable everything was. What we really appreciated was how Sarah really listened to what we liked and made adjustments to the menu to fit our personal taste, from adding truffle oil to the mac and cheese croquettes to adding lobster tail to our entrée with less than a week’s notice. We also had a Hot Toddy Bar which was super fun and unique as well! The entire process was so easy, and we felt extremely taken care-of along the way. Thank you Catering DSM for a delicious evening!

Five words - The Temple And Mallory Huff. Catering DSM was amazing - Mallory was the one who oversaw both the Temple and the Catering. She was exellent beyond mesure. Quick to reply, helpful, professional, and fun. Everyone raved about how good the food was. We had apps and drinks first followed by dinner, and then late night apps. I had a number of food restriction guests (dairy, gluten, nuts, no meat, no pork, etc) and Catering DSM was able to handle them all without any stress. We were utterly no help on picking the menu out the first time and with only a few descriptive words (classy and fun) and a couple of edits - everything came full circle. The tasting ahead of time gave us a good idea of what the night would be like and a chance for feed back. The servering professionals made the night complete. Mallory even helped me out with a bit of miscommunication on the shuttle and re-arranged the dance floor layout for us. Everything was absolutely perfect. I do not know if another manager would be as good, but I know how great this was.

Catering DSM did an amazing job with the dinner and cocktail hour for our wedding! The food was delicious and the staff was very nice!

I was a little nervous when I booked with the Temple and was stuck with whichever Caterer they used (some venues let you bring in your own). My family is very picky about the quality of food they eat - many of them are chefs or at least attended culinary school. However, Catering DSM was perfect! I sent them several changes to our menu over the course of 8 months and they always responded right away and helped me sort out what would be best for my guests.

I was even more impressed when they were passing appetizers, wine, and beer on trays during cocktail hour. I feel like they were always classy and professional. Some of their servers went above and beyond to help my grandparents with special requests. They also include an event coordinator with their service who made sure my husband and I were taken care of at all times! My wedding turned out beautifully and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or caterer.

Love love loved the food that was made for our wedding!! Definitely recommend for catering!! Everything was so good and tasted great!!

Unfortunately I was not very impressed with their company. They definitely caused me the most stress of my entire event. I found out Thursday night before my Saturday wedding that they had changed the table sizes, so I stayed up until 11 working on a new seating chart, which we got printed that morning before I left for my hotel. I then stopped by the reception room to check on things and found that they had yet again changed the number and sizes of the tables. I called them and they simply said that they thought this would work better and they were planning on sending me an email with the new set up at 2:00 that day so "I could change my seating chart in time". Needless to say I had to scrap my seating chart and my parents ended up sitting in the far corner of the room. Then we got another surprise at the end of the night by our bill, it was not what we were told it would be and not wanting to ruin your amazing night we paid it. For instance with an open tab we ordered kegs yet they served and charged us for bottles instead. I never actually met the man in charge, we emailed but he was never available. I will say that the food was delicious but unfortunately all of our struggles overshadowed the positives.
