CastleDay is where your wedding party, friends, and family can stay side-by-side in three lush, art-filled villas - each its own private tropical compound designed for gathering, celebrating, and feeling at home in New Orleans.

We’re a collection of three contemporary private villas in the Bywater - The Herald, The Cocodrie, and The Florentine (ADA-accessible). Each villa is completely self-contained with its own garden, courtyard, heated pool, hot tub, and outdoor living spaces. Book one, two, or all three depending on the size of your group.

Set on a former Kern Studios float yard and designed by the Office of Jonathan Tate, CastleDay carries the soul of New Orleans into a space that’s artful, modern, and completely unique.

The Experience

Your whole crew, your way. Every villa has its own heated pool, hot tub, and generous outdoor space - so whether you’re gathering everyone in one villa or spreading out across three, you get total privacy and resort-level amenities. Welcome drinks by the pool. A bridesmaids’ breakfast that drifts into an all-day hang. The after-party that goes exactly as late as it should.

Each villa sleeps up to 30 overnight guests with 12 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, chef’s kitchens, thoughtful interiors, and local art inspired by the color and spirit of the Bywater. A full buyout sleeps up to 90 guests across all three villas.

Want to host your rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or post-wedding brunch onsite? The space handles it beautifully. Some couples even choose to hold their ceremony and reception here, though most use CastleDay as their home base while celebrating around the city.
