Out of this world

Let me just start out by saying that the owner shantal was amazing she went above and beyond not only to satisfy myself but all of my guest with any of there request. Now lets talk about the food if you havent had any of her tacos she really puts the G in gourmet her mushroom taco especially. Next comes the service the three servers that accompanied shantal on my special day where on point in every aspect of there job all the way down to the smallest detail like taking care of our elderly guest at our wedding. Thank you shantal for making our special day that more special.

I originally put this as 5 stars, but things quickly changed after we paid, for the worse.

Her system crashed, which sucks and I get that, but we worked with her and reminded her. She showed up a week early to the venue for one, which shows disorganization (after e-mailing her and reminding her the date).

1 day before the venue she informed us her taco carts were propane and not allowed in the building and demanded my wedding planner purchase $300 in serving dishes.

She then told my mother and wedding planner it was mine and my husband's fault for not knowing that because we knew she had a cart (??)... we were also told there would be 2-3 on site and there was one.

We bumped the taco count up 2 weeks before to accommodate for guests. We ran out of meat but there was about 60 tortillas left, my guess is there was the tortilla count added but not the correct ratio to meat. The servers gave HUGE spoonfuls to our beginning guests and did not limit the count people asked for (which is the reason we PAID for the servers, right?), so our later guests were left with only pork or nothing at all.

Shantal wasn't on the venue, she dumped her stuff and left. We were told there was going to be 4 employees and there was 2, who when asked about the food responded "Idk anything about the food." There was a huge line for lack of servers, and not all of the toppings were requested.

All in all, it's disappointing. The food was good, but the owner and service lacks greatly in comparison. May be OK for smaller parties, but lost it all for a larger wedding. Thankfully my wedding planner is a saint and I had no knowledge about any of the mishaps until after the wedding (and a few complaints of food running out). Now Shantal will not answer her phone and also blamed my mother and wedding planner for leaving HER equipment on the site. She is also banned from the venue we got married at because of her lack of professionalism. I hope they get their crap together.

Terrible experience

January 18, 2020.
Paid $2300 for gourmet tacos for a party of 50. I figured I would be paying for peace of mind. Boy was I wrong!
They arrived over an hour late. The tacos were okay at best. They arrived unprepared. Precooked food. They promised quesadillas for the kids. They didn't even bring cheese for tacos or have anything for the quesadillas.
I paid extra for a churro bar. They ended up using our oven for the churros and they were chewy and very gross. I wish I could have avoided tthis experience with this company. I would give zero stars! I do not recommend using this company at all!
