Carrie was absolutely amazing to work with! She was very responsive and she worked with us to create our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. During the wedding she was very friendly and got many compliments from our guests. People thought we had known her for years. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking you won’t regret it! :)

We used Carrie to officiate our wedding in August. The first time we met her we knew within the first few minutes that she was the one to marry us. Every idea she presented to us was perfect for both of us and our beliefs. The vows, readings, and ceremony was perfect for us. Carrie was the perfect officiant for our wedding! We met her before hand to talk about the ideas we had to see if she would work with us, and all three of us connected immediately! Carrie was professional and personal, which is exactly the type of officiant we wanted. Carrie also allowed us to customize our ceremony with an Unbreakable Vow based hand fasting segment within our ceremony which made it more personal for us. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so glad to have Carrie with us on our special day! Our families enjoyed her presence as well, and overall she was just a wonderful addition to our day. Carrie was a wonderful addition to our wedding day. We met together in person twice to craft a ceremony, and loved having her resources and expertise to help us figure out what we wanted and give some structure to our nebulous ceremony ideas. We had her help us run our rehearsal as well and she was fantastic at keeping everything efficient and organized with our large bridal party. The ceremony was beautiful and many of our guests were asking for her information by the end of the day! Would absolutely recommend Carrie to help anyone celebrate their wedding day!

Carrie MaKenna was amazing at our wedding- she helped us write the ceremony, had so much experience with a huuuuge variety of traditions . I appreciated her flexibility and we wrote out a fully customized secular (non-religious) ceremony that was still steeped in tradition, great balance.

Best part was that she spoke so well it actually enhanced our ceremony-particularly one poem reading she did for us- which became my favorite poem after hearing her read it during the wedding for us (i originally included the poem because it was my mom’s favorite but I wasn’t particularly attached until that moment at the altar listening to her read it)

I had a long, detailed review written out with all the best points covered but it was too long and this system didn’t allow me to submit something that long. Wish I could five the full glowing review she absolutely deserves!

Carrie was a pleasure to work with. She helped us plan our ceremony and offered some really nice vows and quotes that we used. We had a very small wedding in the mountains with only a handful of guests. Carrie really helped to make this a special day for us. I would definitely recommend her.
