I am a professional wedding photographer. So when it came time to choose a photographer for my own daughter's wedding, the choice was a no brainer. I was Gary's mentor for a while and it has been so great to see him grow and develop into a very high quality wedding photographer! When he said he was open for Alexis' date I booked him on the spot! The day ended up being quite chaotic with Hurricane Irma threatening the region and even causing the wedding to be moved up several hours. Gary responded to the challenges without a hitch. Gary went above and beyond what most, if any other, photographers would have done for my daughters wedding day. He saved the day with his expertise of lighting and getting the most beautiful images of her beach sunset wedding!! Absolute charm! Went over and beyond! Very personable and funny which made our pictures come out even better. Would totally use them again. In fact 'after marriage comes the baby carriage'...... when the little one does come, we plan to take our family pictures by the ocean like our wedding pictures and wouldn't think about using any other company besides Carrie Alves!
