If you are debating on whether you should book DJ Mario, seriously look no further. We booked Mario at the very last minute as other plans fell through, and even though it was short notice, he definitely over-delivered. Not only did we have the best dance party of our lives (seriously, the dance floor was full the entire night), but he also suggested//facilitated really fun activities that our guests LOVED and are still talking about a month after the wedding including the classic shoe game, and a fun personalized quiz about my partner and I. He took the time to put those extras together on top of crafting our dinner/dance playlists ahead of time. He also gave us an unforgettable grand entrance to our wedding that exceeded our expectations tenfold. Mario is kind, attentive, intuitive, and very flexible. Even though our day had many twists and turns, he reassured us that everything was going to plan and that he would take care of us. Our guests were complimenting us on the music he was playing throughout the night and we had the delight of telling them, “Oh we didn’t have the time to make these playlists. Mario put all of this together.” If you want a Dj who can read a crowd, go with the flow, keep everybody calm, and manage your ceremony/reception timeline, definitely go with Dj Mario.

I want to thank Mario at Carmel Disc Jockeys for making my wedding a night to remember. My wedding crowed is far from the dancing type of party. I mentioned this to Mario during one of our first meetings out of fear that no one would dance at our wedding. Mario assured us that he would take care of the music, read the crowd, and help us set up the wedding time time line for the most effortless transitions. With his help we were able to schedule all of our events like first dance, father-daughter dances, cake cuttings etc, without disrupting the mood and he was able to keep the people dancing. He took song request from our guest to ensure that everyone was having a great time. From the moment my husband and I started off the dance floor, the party never stopped. I was worried that once my husband and I stopped dancing the crowed would die down, as some tik-tok videos suggested, but this was not the case for us. The people and the Music kept going. Mario went above and beyond for our very special day, and I could not recommend him enough.

Mario was fabulous. He was great with the crowd and was able to ‘feel the room’. He kept everyone dancing and was very observant for cues. When meeting before the wedding he listened and understood what we were looking for in genre of music. Would highly recommend.

DJ Mario was awesome throughout our whole wedding process which was crammed into two short months. He was very friendly and flexible with our busy schedule. We met with him twice before the wedding, once to create a general timeline of our big day, and another to kind of go over our choice of music which we were really stressed about. He welcomed us into his studio and we threw out our song ideas and he looked up songs and helped us to choose the perfect version of them. As nervous as we both were, DJ Mario reassured us that our whole day would be perfect and it really was! Also, his quality of work is amazing for the price paid. This was the most important day of our lives up to date and we knew we could trust DJ Mario with it.
We’ve heard him play at local clubs and we’ve always loved his sets.
We wanted a classy mix with a little bit of upbeat music for the dancing. Mario really knows how to cater to his crowds and he loves what he does and It shows!
From the moment we met up he did everything to make us feel at ease even meeting us at our place because my wife and I have very tricky schedules but DJ Mario made it easy for us and came to us.
He knows what he is doing and after meeting with him we knew we made the right choice. He helped us fill out his planner from the ceremony, dinner, special dances etc... we are so thankful to DJ Mario. He surprised us with not one but two awesome Gobo’s that projected our names on the floor and wall it was really cool and a great touch. He didn’t have to come to the rehearsal because most dj’s don’t but he did and even brought the mics and speakers to help us practice. Honestly, he could have doubled as a coordinator and his attitude is always positive and optimistic. Everything went smooth with Mario behind the scenes making sure nothing was missed. We can’t say enough about CDJ’s and DJ Mario we are just grateful we was a part of our big day. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us achieve our vision and helping us create it! DJ Mario was referred by my Wedding Coordinator. From the get-go he was eager to meet up with both my fiancé and myself to get an idea of what we were expecting for our big day. He met us at our place of business since we weren’t able to up and go during the week, he was patient with us as we didn’t know all of the wedding terminology, and he helped us to create a beautiful selection of songs, for our ceremony & reception. The venue we selected was a remote place. Our ceremony was about 1/4 of a mile away from our reception site and he was able to provide us impeccable music for our ceremony. Transitioning from ceremony to reception, He didn’t miss a beat !

This review will be quite lengthy because Mario was not only the highlight of our wedding night but boy, does he know his craft! He had 2 days to arrange the wedding itinerary and requested music and songs—- TWO DAYS—- and he rocked it! He treated my celebration with care, importance, and urgency as if it was his own! He was professional, energetic, great personality, and did the absolute best to make us feel like things were being taken care of! He was one of the best DJs I’ve heard in a while! He knew exactly how to keep the crowd engaged for HOURS! That is hard to accomplish but he kept us dancing all night long with a wonderful mix of wedding music, Latin music, old school, newer— it was FANTASTIC! Seriously, incredible pricing for the quality of work this gentleman puts in! I am not from this area and was worried about getting taken advantage of being a military couple from out of town planning our wedding. He made us feel completely comfortable from the get go. We literally last minute asked him to do our ceremony and he was totally fine with that, which gave me a huge piece of mind going into the day of. Everything from professionalism to flexibility was delivered 100%. Our guests had a BLAST and honestly Mario had a good time too! He was engaging with our guests, took request from the kids, and gave us a classy cocktail hour and ceremony.
