Carly is truly the most incredible photographer. Her photos are unbelievable (everyone we know continues to talk about our engagement + wedding photos). Her personality and energy are captivating (we had the most FUN during all of our photoshoots). Her timing is unheard of (days after our wedding we got our preview photos and family portraits; one month for our full album).
Carly is simply the best, and will leave you wanting to be her friend (she's really that cool!).

As we started the wedding planning process, we were often told that your photographer is someone that you should feel comfortable with so that it as easy as possible to capture the joy of your big day. Carly delivered on that in spades. From the very beginning, she showed an intuitive sense of how to capture perfectly candid moments and meet us where we were as a couple. During the engagement shoot, she focused on getting to know us so that she was comfortable on what to do when the big day came. Despite it being her first time at our venue, she was able to quickly identify the best spots for capturing some truly beautiful moments, and read when to take advantage of lighting for a quick photo and when to step aside and let us just enjoy the day. When I tell you that the BEST decision I made during my wedding planning was to hire THE CARLY MAC I am not exaggerating one bit. She is an absolute ROCKSTAR. From day one we were SO comfortable with her during our engagement photos. Let's be honest, those can be a little akward. She has this calming effect and great vibe that everyone immediately falls in love with. She makes you feel like you have known her for years and makes even the most anxious people relax (ME!). Carly is super talented and worth every penny. She keeps it simple and is SO quick at taking the actual photos. Her photos captured our day perfectly.
