Candy Valley provided us with a beautiful cake with outstanding flavor! We love how everything we done with buttercream and no fondant. We also asked them to provide us with bride and groom themed cake pops which were a huge hit at our reception!

I can not say enough nice things about Keya. She was such a joy to work with and we are stilling getting questions from our wedding guests on who did our cake and other desserts because they were simply to die for delicious.

Keya is the most talented pastry chef in Richmond - possibly one of the most talented in Virginia or on the East Coast. That sounds extravagant, but having been a guest at several weddings and events where she provided cakes, and having had her make our anniversary cake, I can say it's true. I've had Maple's, Maggie Austin's and Ron ben Isreal's cakes, and Candy Valley leaves themin the dust (or on the plate). Not only are her designs absolutely inventive and gorgeous, with fantastic attention to miniscule detail, the cake tastes as beautiful as it looks. Her buttercream is rich and buttery but mot sickly- sweet, and the fruit flavors just pop, they're so fresh. The cale texture was moist and dense and also had fresh, rich flavor. Keya is calm and practical and very honest, and she is a perfectionist, which means we got not just what made us happy, but a cake the chef could be proud of. That's what you want in a party vendor, but especially when it comes to food. We didn't have a traditional tiered wedding cake at our wedding so it was fun to have one for our 10th. Candy Valley was definitely worth the wait.

I couldn't have asked for more flexibility and accommodation. When the florist sent the wrong flowers, they went out and purchased new ones without bothering us or charging extra. They were truly looking out for us in every detail.
