Lauren is the best

So, my now husband and I loved the chapel and Lauren. Outside on the garden side was lovely too. Great to work with. I personally really hate big white tents, but life is full of compromises and this one had chandeliers and such, which helped with the light.
For what it's worth, our photographer hated the location for our August wedding. He complained about all the bad light inside and outside and the lack of good places to take photos. This is a reflection of him, but might also be an indication of things about the venue we did not notice.

This Chapel is so beautiful and romantic, and the garden is so pretty. It was perfect for our small Wedding. Marilyn is so sweet and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for anything better. A real gem.

The Canby Wedding Chapel is a beautiful, romantic, and simply elegant place to get married. I absolutely love that the inside of the chapel is all white and the tin walls & stained glass windows add an unique and historic feel to the atmosphere. All of our friends and family loved the location for both our ceremony in the chapel and reception in the gardens. The proprietress Marilyn is a very kind and knowledgeable woman; she is clearly passionate about her job and she worked very hard to make our big day special and conducted smoothly. She worked well with all of our vendors, several of which we used after recommendations from her. The chapel and gardens provide beautiful shots for pictures, and even though our wedding was in mid July on a sunny day - the tents and large trees offered plenty of shade to keep us and our guests cool. I am so so glad that we got married at the Canby Wedding Chapel. It is probably one of my favorite aspects/vendors of the wedding that we chose. I would recommend this chapel for a ceremony and/or reception for any and all brides looking for an intimate and romantic venue for their wedding. Thank you Marilyn! <3

This may be the cutest chapel ever. My goodness, it's so darling!

The owner of the chapel is named Marylyn, she is just a precious lady. She answered, what feels like, hundreds of questions! Email after email, always remaining as sweet as can be.

As soon as we were pronounced husband and wife, she rang the church bells, which was so adorable!

This venue is so very charming. I definitely recommend checking it out, if your wedding is in the spring/summer. The gardens are lovely, especially for photos.

Big NO. We were ghosted!

My fiancé and I loved the venue. It was perfect for what we wanted. When it came time to set the date and book this venue I never heard from Alexis (the owner) again. I had to restart my search for a venue 10 months before my wedding date. It’s a beautiful venue, but not worth the risk of putting in the effort to then have to start over.
