When we first started looking for our videographer, my fiance and I watched some wedding videos on our TV, like a movie. My most favorite one was from Cakewalk Films and we watched it over and over again, and I knew I had to hire them. From meeting them to coordinating up until the wedding day, I was so pleased with how responsive and flexible Obinna and Tutu were. I was super comfortable with them, which made getting the shots they needed easy. Obinna and Tutu are so kind and we loved having them be such an important and special part of our big day. Less than a week after our wedding, they posted a preview on Instagram that I wasn't even expecting!! It was the best surprise and so much fun to share with all of our friends and family. It made me so excited to get the full video back in a few months!

Cakewalk Films did an absolutely FANTASTIC job before, during, and after our wedding. We hesitated at getting a videographer at first because we figured that we already had a photographer, but we were very wrong thinking that. One of THE best decisions we made for our wedding was getting a videographer. We watched 1000's of videos from every major videographer in the Houston area. Cakewalk blew ALL of them out of the water (given their prices). Based on the package you purchase, you receive the raw footage in addition to the edited highlight and ceremony/reception videos (this is huge and the similar to owning the proofs of your wedding photography). Your wedding WILL go by in the blink of an eye (everyone says this but you don't really realize it until everything is over). It is SO NICE to have video footage of everything that went by for you in a blur on the actual day. Obinna and Tutu (the geniuses behind Cakewalk Films) and their excellent staff all have a great cinematography eye. When you use Cakewalk, you are not getting just a videographer, but you are also getting a TRUE cinematographer. They take their time, get to know the couple beforehand to get a sense of their style and personality, and then capture footage to create a truly unique movie to show family, friends, and future generations. We were so happy with their work and the moments they captured so beautifully. They had great communication throughout the entire process and could not have been any nicer with helping us plan out the schedule for the day and how best to capture it (while incorporating our input/ideas). They are TRUE professionals that provide a truly professional product that rivals videography services that cost 2-3x more than what they charge. Given the final product and all of the raw footage they so expertly and beautifully captured, we consider their services a deal. EVERYONE that has seen our videos LOVED them and couldn't believe how great they came out!

My husband and I used Cakewalk Films after seeing their videos on Wedding Wire. We instantly LOVED their work! From the first day we contacted them until the day we received our highlight video, they have been OUTSTANDING, Very quick to respond to emails and extremely easy to work! Our highlight video was simply A M A Z I N G, we have received so many compliments on it! I would most definetly recommend Cakewalk Films to all engaged couples who are looking for wonderful videographers to capture their wedding day. I would give them a higher star rating if possible!

Obinna and Tutu were absolutely wonderful to work with from the very beginning meeting to the actual event! They were very responsive, friendly, and professional, and clearly experts in their field. Throughout our wedding they weren't obtrusive, and we barely noticed that they were there, but we are so excited to have had them capture such special moments on our special day. The value of the package that they provided us was remarkably reasonable and we feel like we hired the perfect people for our wedding day!

Videography vendors go fast here in Houston, so when we learned that Cakewalk had availability on our date, we jumped on it and signed a contract without even meeting them. It was the best thing we ever did! Once we did meet with them I was put at ease immediately. They are receptive to your ideas, and wrote notes on exactly what I was wanting. They arrived on the morning of my wedding on time and were professional the entire time. My guests commented on how many photographers and videographers we had (2 each) and yet they were next in the way or in the middle of things.
True to their word, we received our videos on time. The highlight video is beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. I could tell they really did listen to me. I would definitely work with them again.

On our wedding day, Cakewalk was punctual, professional, and (most importantly) discrete. In fact, reflecting on the day, my dad had no idea we had a videographer there-- and yet, somehow Cakewalk managed to capture every sweet moment/detail!

Their final product = absolutely breath taking. I cried 2 minutes into a 6 minue video... It was that great!! Working with Cakewalk was more than I could have ever hoped for! Definitely recommend!

there is so much i could say about this company! they did an engagement video for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing! i really want people to understand that this company charges FAR LESS than what their work ought to cost. I requested information and people quoted me between $6,000-$10,000 dollars!!! i couldn't believe how expensive quality videography is. but cakewalk films has equally comparable work for a reasonable price. every video i have seen by them moved me emotionally!! they do such incredible work i cant recommend this company enough!!!

Cakewalk films did the most FABULOUS job on Alex and I's wedding. We had a December wedding in Houston.. We got married at St Michaels church and then had our reception downtown at the plaza club. Our church was very important to us as was our priest whom we've gotten to know very well... Cakewalk Films did the most amazing job capturing everything we had hoped (AND MORE) and really bringing our personalities to life. We both new it was going to be exciting to see our video... But we had no idea it would be so magical. Not one person that we showed did not say they cried... I get teary eyed and goosebumps every single time I watch... STILL.. (And I've watched it every day since the first day..!) If this is something you're considering to cut for budget.... DEFINITELY reconsider. Cakewalk puts their full time and attention into their work. I was a tad nervous having them in our hotel while we got ready.... But they were SO wonderful.... Not one bit uncomfortable and they really do just blend in! I could go on for days... They 100% have my full and complete recommendation!!!!! We are so very pleased, thrilled, excited :-) thank you thank you thank you!!
