Experience

Owner Jamie Lachel knew from an early age she wanted to be an business owner and entrepreneur. She graduated from Colorado State University and the Culinary Art Institute of America, and founded Button Rock Bakery, LLC in December of 2013. Jamie’s passion for baking is palpable, and she works tirelessly to ensure each of her creations is made perfectly.

Delicious cake!

Super yummy cake and cupcakes! The delivery fee was equal to what we paid for the cake and cupcakes but totally worth it!! Loved the chocolate cake with aspen tree design and vanilla cupcakes with a Kansas sunflower. Exactly what we ordered!

Most delicious cake ever

This place makes, hands down, THE. BEST. CAKE. I have ever tasted. We worked with Alana to design our wedding cake and weddign dessert bar, which included cake pops, macarons, and cannolis. Everything was delicious. My husband is not really a "dessert person" and rarely eats cake, and he said it was the best cake he'd ever had. All of our guests loved it and there were barely any leftovers at the end of the night! The cake pops are also the best I've had. I love the variety of flavors and designs they have for you to choose from! Everyone we interacted with was very kind and supportive, helping to ensure that everything turned out exactly as we had envisioned - and delicious!

Delicious and beautiful cake

Married last week! The cake was so delicious and beautiful and we have no regrets. Our cake was not only gorgeously made, but the flavors were all wonderful in fact we had a hard time choosing a flavor because we liked them so much!

Tasty cake!

We loved our cake! We had a home tasting kit and it was so fun to be able to mix and match our cake flavors. Communication was smooth and easy via email. Delivery to Idaho springs went great!

Delicious desserts

We did a small gluten free cutting cake and a bunch of bite sized desserts. The variety was wonderful and everyone was able to get something they liked. It was a huge hit! There was almost nothing left (and we got a lot) at the end of the night! The gluten free cake was delicious and they had a few other tasty gluten free treats to choose from as well!

Would recommend!

I used Button Rock for my wedding cake. The tasting was one of the most fun parts. They put together tasting trays with all cake flavors, frostings, and fillings that they offered. It was really a nice opportunity to try the cake, but also to enjoy it a little more before the chaos of the wedding. We ended up doing three tiers with banded white frosting (and florals added by florist). The cake was delicious, and they were able to delivery, which was important to me! Overall, everything went smoothly, and I'd recommend using them!

Amazing gf cake!

We got married on 7/29/2021 and Robyn and the whole team was amazing to work with! We did half gluten free and half regular cake and it was amazing! The design was spot on to the picture I showed her and the cake tasted incredible! We ordered for 30 people over our guest count and barley had a piece left over for my husband and I. Robyn also told us if we came back for our 1 year anniversary she would make the top tier of our cake for us again so we didn't have to freeze any! 100% would recommend.

Best cake and service!

We were helped by Robyn who hosted our tasting. She was very helpful and open to what we wanted. We ended up choosing more options than we came in for. The cupcakes and cake were beautiful! They work well with our venue and ended up dropping all the goodies off for us!

Downright amazing!

Button Rock Bakery was simply awesome. Our wedding cake (2 layers marble with OREO!!! mousse, 1 layer chocolate with raspberry mousse) was absolutely excellent. They also added lemon bars, vanilla raspberry tarts, and key lime tarts to our dessert table, which was a huge hit for our guests. Their wedding consultant was a joy to work with, and tasting and planning was a breeze. We were thrilled to see they even incorporated two little golden labs on the mountains of our cake after mentioning it briefly. Their hard work and passion was an integral part of our big day, and for that they are very much appreciated. I highly suggest checking them out for your wedding or event, or even just stopping by for breakfast or a sweet treat. Thanks Button Rock!
