We used Button Rock Bakery for our October 2025 wedding in Estes Park, CO. After our cake tasting with them, they reached out on exactly a year before the wedding to follow up (I know it is a small thing, but I really appreciated the customer service it demonstrated). We ordered a small cutting cake and a dessert bar (included cupcakes, brownie bites, lemon tart, cheesecake bites, and eclairs) for our guests. I really enjoyed the variety they offered and everything we tasted was delicious. They also were able to deliver and set up the dessert table. We simply showed them a pinterest image of what we had in mind for setup, left the dessert platters on the table, and they handled the rest. They were very quick and efficient, and we did not even see them for the setup. We would highly recommend them! -

Super yummy cake and cupcakes! The delivery fee was equal to what we paid for the cake and cupcakes but totally worth it!! Loved the chocolate cake with aspen tree design and vanilla cupcakes with a Kansas sunflower. Exactly what we ordered! -

This place makes, hands down, THE. BEST. CAKE. I have ever tasted. We worked with Alana to design our wedding cake and weddign dessert bar, which included cake pops, macarons, and cannolis. Everything was delicious. My husband is not really a "dessert person" and rarely eats cake, and he said it was the best cake he'd ever had. All of our guests loved it and there were barely any leftovers at the end of the night! The cake pops are also the best I've had. I love the variety of flavors and designs they have for you to choose from! Everyone we interacted with was very kind and supportive, helping to ensure that everything turned out exactly as we had envisioned - and delicious! -

Married last week! The cake was so delicious and beautiful and we have no regrets. Our cake was not only gorgeously made, but the flavors were all wonderful in fact we had a hard time choosing a flavor because we liked them so much! -

We loved our cake! We had a home tasting kit and it was so fun to be able to mix and match our cake flavors. Communication was smooth and easy via email. Delivery to Idaho springs went great! -

We did a small gluten free cutting cake and a bunch of bite sized desserts. The variety was wonderful and everyone was able to get something they liked. It was a huge hit! There was almost nothing left (and we got a lot) at the end of the night! The gluten free cake was delicious and they had a few other tasty gluten free treats to choose from as well! -

I used Button Rock for my wedding cake. The tasting was one of the most fun parts. They put together tasting trays with all cake flavors, frostings, and fillings that they offered. It was really a nice opportunity to try the cake, but also to enjoy it a little more before the chaos of the wedding. We ended up doing three tiers with banded white frosting (and florals added by florist). The cake was delicious, and they were able to delivery, which was important to me! Overall, everything went smoothly, and I'd recommend using them! -

We got married on 7/29/2021 and Robyn and the whole team was amazing to work with! We did half gluten free and half regular cake and it was amazing! The design was spot on to the picture I showed her and the cake tasted incredible! We ordered for 30 people over our guest count and barley had a piece left over for my husband and I. Robyn also told us if we came back for our 1 year anniversary she would make the top tier of our cake for us again so we didn't have to freeze any! 100% would recommend. -

Best cake and service!
We were helped by Robyn who hosted our tasting. She was very helpful and open to what we wanted. We ended up choosing more options than we came in for. The cupcakes and cake were beautiful! They work well with our venue and ended up dropping all the goodies off for us! -

Button Rock Bakery was simply awesome. Our wedding cake (2 layers marble with OREO!!! mousse, 1 layer chocolate with raspberry mousse) was absolutely excellent. They also added lemon bars, vanilla raspberry tarts, and key lime tarts to our dessert table, which was a huge hit for our guests. Their wedding consultant was a joy to work with, and tasting and planning was a breeze. We were thrilled to see they even incorporated two little golden labs on the mountains of our cake after mentioning it briefly. Their hard work and passion was an integral part of our big day, and for that they are very much appreciated. I highly suggest checking them out for your wedding or event, or even just stopping by for breakfast or a sweet treat. Thanks Button Rock! -

Button Rock Bakery is a classic community gem!
We were greeted by Robyn for our tasting and her smile and friendliness set the tone for an outstanding experience! The cakes were freshly baked and she accommodated our rqst for “Fall” flavor profiles, they were bursting with deliciousness and their moist, light texture was amazing! The frosting was out of this world and not too sweet. She executed our design suggestions flawlessly and we felt excited about our choices!
When we arrived to our reception, we were immediately impressed with the beauty of our 3 tier masterpiece! It was perfect in every way and we couldn’t wait for dessert! Our guests raved about the flavors and the quality! We left the cake for the serving staff because they had been watching our delight in eating it & we were traveling the next morning.
We are so thrilled with the entire experience Button Rock & staff offer! Since our wedding, we have ordered 3 birthday cakes from them, each one just as impressive!

Button Rock is great! The cake was so good and so beautiful. We sent them a picture with an idea of what we wanted, and they did such a good job. I can guarantee we will be going back to them for cakes in the future too! -

I am so glad I hired Button Rock Bakery! We got married on June 29th and we got a personal cake for my husband and I, and did a dessert bar for guests. We got cheesecake bites, brownie bites, lemon bars, and cookies (chocolate chip, sugar, oatmeal raisin). Our cake was chocolate with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. It was amazing and so were all the desserts! The portions of the "bites" were big, like a full-sized brownie. I got a lot of compliments on the desserts. They showed up on time and set everything up for us. We did a taste-test about 4 months before the wedding to decide what we wanted and it was so much fun! Anna was so nice and accommodating and responsive. I am so happy we went with Button Rock!! -

Gorgeous and Delicious
Oh my word! Our cake was DELICIOUS!!! The cake was so flavorful, moist, and beautiful. I have never heard so many compliments about a cake before. We had a funfetti cake with caramel filling and a chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling. I cannot express how happy we were with our cake. I would recommend this bakery to everyone! I will definitely use this bakery again for future needs! -

Jessica Sent on 09/06/2018Button Rock Bakery made our wedding cake for 9/8/17. It was absolutely phenomenal. We still have cravings for that cake almost every day. Our wedding was a destination wedding and Robyn made it so easy for us to communicate and get things done from NYC. Robyn was quick to respond, understanding, kind, and absolutely amazing. We had a vision in mind for the cake and had lots of pictures of different things we wanted to put together. Her and her team made that vision come to life and it looked more amazing than it did in our minds. The cake was so beautiful! It was delicious, and everyone loved it.
During our tasting, Robyn offered suggestions and was very patient. She was fun and super sweet. My husband and I seemed to have 2 completely different tastes in pairings and she helped us get to a delicious medium ground. She was attentive in listening to our cake descriptions and even drew some diagrams to help us out along the way. We went to a lot of cake tastings in the area and no one did what she did. My husband and I knew from the moment we met Robyn that Button Rock was the one. All good vibes!
On our wedding day, we had a cake topper, which my sister made, and flowers to add to the cake. She put it together so wonderfully. We were in tears when we saw the cake. We almost didn’t want to touch it. We just wanted to preserve it forever and just look at it forever.
Thank you so much Robyn and the Team at the Lafayette location! Now that we've moved to Colorado we know exactly where we will get our cakes for any occasion! -

In the beginning, we experienced some miscommunication regarding our tasting. Jamie was not only apologetic, but went above and beyond to make sure we knew that customer service and satisfaction was her number one concern. Every experience we had thereafter was incredibly smooth. We went with a dessert bar of cheesecakes, pecan pie bars, cake pops, lemon bars, and cannolis. Everything was phenomenal and delicious. -

The service at Buttom Rock is exceptional. When my fiance and I arrived for our tasting we were seated in a small bakery area where there were quite a few mid morning visitors who all walked out with grins and boxes of baked goods. During our tasting we went over the four cake options (vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and carrot) as well as the filling and frosting options. We were able to taste different combinations due to the presentation of all ingredients. We were provided with a lot of help while deciding what size cake we'd prefer for our wedding and were overwhelmed with the different dessert options. The tasting was well worth the $50. You must try their white cake, raspberry/strawberry filling and buttercream! SO DELICIOUS! -

Button Rock Bakery by far had the best cake tasting experience! I loved having the ability to try the different cakes, frostings, and fillings to design your own cake. They were super responsive in answering questions and ensuring our vision was executed. They even were great when I added some gluten free cupcakes!
They delivered the cake on time. However, the person delivering the cake kept asking questions of my mom and for help setting up the cakes. A few things I would expect not to happen. Otherwise it went smoothly!
The cakes were delicious and everything we could have hoped for! Thank you Button Rock for taking care of us!!
