Bush House Estate is a historic mansion and wedding venue located in Muncy, Pennsylvania. Built in the mid-1800s, this gorgeous estate has been recently renovated and now acts as a site for weddings, special events, and parties. The historic beauty of the space and natural greenery that surround it makes the estate a lovely option for wedding ceremonies or receptions.
Facilities and Capacity
The nine-acre property that surrounds the mansion at the Bush House Estate is complete with stately oak, pine, and hemlock trees. The towering trees will provide you and your guests with a secluded and private setting. The mansion itself features unique architectural features including a breathtaking five-level oval staircase. This mid-19th-century, 9,000-square-foot home is filled with captivating and intricate woodwork, incredible archways, marbled and ornate mantels, and elegant antique furnishings and decor. The estate, whether you desire an indoor or outdoor event, can accommodate up to 200 guests for dinner. The venue also offers other beautiful features including wrap-around porches with Roman columns, flagstone terraces, and romantic flowering landscaping. This venue is truly picturesque, both inside and out.

History
Originally built in 1867 by the Reverend D.R. Dickinson and his wife Margaret of New York City, the estate has a truly rich history. The house remained owned by the couple’s daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, the Reverend A.D. Lawrence Jewett. The mansion was used as their summer home for many years. Eventually, in 2013, Charles Bush, along with his wife Carmen, transformed the estate and the property became the Bush House Estate Wedding and Event venue.
