Brokenstraw Valley Winery — located in Cleveland, Ohio and serving clients in the Cleveland and Erie regions — is a winery and wedding event venue that can accommodate wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners. Established in 2016, this winery still ecompasses the same charm and personality of the popular Buckaloons Ski Lodge (closed in the 80s), but with a more open environment to accommodate events held both inside and out. Brokenstraw Valley Winery takes pride in offering a romantic setting for you and your guests to relax and enjoy your special day.

Facilities and Capacity
Brokenstraw Valley Winery offers an open environment to accommodate both indoor and outdoor events. The venue offers a relaxing vibe that is highlighted by the stone fireplace, the high A-frame ceiling, and a loft that overlooks the dance floor where you and your guests can dance the night away. Outside the building, you will notice rolling hills where hundreds of people would flock daily to hit the slopes of the Buckaloons Ski Lodge. For your event, you will be able to host between 80 and 120 people, depending on the type of head table and guest tables you require. The outdoor premises can be utilized in the summer months for additional seating, and you can host up to 150 guests with this space.

Services Offered
Brokenstraw Valley Winery offers the venue for rental between 8 AM and midnight on the day of your event. When you pay the event fee, you’ll receive necessary event rentals, including tables and chairs for your guests as well as setup and cleanup of these items. You’ll also have access to a friendly bar staff, expert event coordination, and a catering prep room. The indoor venue has heat but no air conditioning, yet it stays comfortable during the warmer months thanks to the high A-frame ceiling. Brokenstraw Valley Winery allows you to work with any vendors of your choosing, but they do offer references of highly rated vendors to pass along.

Brokenstraw Valley Winery offers alcohol service. The venue is able to arrange a cash bar, open bar, or a combination of the two. All wine served at your event will be from Brokenstraw Valley Winery. Pennsylvania crafted beers and liquors can also be requested. Finally, each member of your wedding party will receive a complimentary glass of beer or wine for the toast. You can also have custom labels made just for your event!
