So accomadating and FRIENDLY!!

We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding. Our guests raved about how awesome the food and service was. We did 3 passed bites during cocktail hour and we did three small plate entrees for the dinner. It was such a seamless process and everything tasted amazing. We had a tasting with the chef and Christy months before the wedding day and they were so easy to talk to and we knew we could count on them to make the meals perfect! I would 100% recommend them for event catering. I've attended a lot of weddings, and (while im biased as it was my own wedding) I truly think our food was the best wedding food ever.

Fantastic food!!

just what we needed

Brick Lane catered my daughter's wedding for about 115 guests, with passed appetizers and food stations during the reception. They went above and beyond to create a menu than accommodated Indian tastes, low-country fare, and vegetarian guests. The best she-crab soup and shrimp & grits I've had in Charleston. Christy was such a pleasure to work with in customizing the menu, making decisions on time, and always with a happy attitude. Brick Lane is creative, highly responsive, dependable, and provided us with delicious food that was fresh, well presented, and very well served.

Delicious and perfect!

Christy and Chef went above and beyond in helping us pick out the perfect menu for our wedding. All of our guests commented on the excellent food. Thank you so much for helping make our special day so perfect!

Bricklane was perfect

Bricklane was perfect. The food was incredible but the staff was even better. Christy was flexible, responsive and professional. They helped us completely customize our wedding menu to highlight some of our favorite local dishes. People raves about the food but couldn’t stop mentioning how wonderful and attentive the catering staff was. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food!

We absolutely loved the food Brick Lane did for our wedding! Our guest could not stop telling us even weeks after the wedding how good the food was. Their presentation was unique and beautiful and we could not rave about them more! Highly recommend Brick Lane for your big day.

Great food!

I was so happy we used Brick Lane Catering for our wedding reception! The team was great to work with from start to finish. They had fantastic ideas for food to fit our theme. They let us do 2 tastings so that we could get the menu just right and were willing to make adjustments to recipes based on our likes/dislikes. The food was delicious and the presentation unique. They also worked with a family member of ours to provide a special meal that would accommodate her severe food allergies, which we greatly appreciated. I've had multiple compliments on the food both at the wedding and afterward. Their prices were also very reasonable. I would recommend Brick Lane for any event.

Great value & great food!

My Mom worked closely with Christy at Brick Lane throughout the tasting and menu creation process, as I'm live out of town. The result was really fantastic - we heard rave reviews from all of our guests! Bonus review from my husband for the care package they packed up for us at the end of the night - the leftovers were really appreciated the next day! Another side note - we had a lot of quotes and tastings from other "top" Charleston caterers - this was by far the most reasonable caterer & were more flexible and responsive to boot. Highly Recommend!

Brick Lane was incredible from initial contact through our tasting and of course, the wedding. We are from Charleston but live in Italy so we wanted a mix of South Carolina and Southern Italy in our menu. Boy, did Chef Charlie deliver. Guests loved the Caprese pipettes that added a splash of balsamic and olive oil to tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. The other passed items (chicken and waffle cones, BLT sliders) also got several compliments. Crab cakes were a must and the fresh accompanying salad made for a unique take on a fan favorite. Many guests hadn't tried quail but said they'd gone back for seconds. The team was always incredibly responsive, the menu was perfectly tailored, and our guests couldn't say enough about how much they enjoyed the food.

As a destination couple in Charleston, we really wanted to highlight that classic low country taste for our guests. But of course keep it elegant for the wedding. Brick Lane by far exceeding our expectations! We chose a station format and Brick Lane delivered with delectable eats like chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and carving station that included the best truffle mac & cheese I have ever tasted. Our guests still rave about the food from our wedding over a month later - I still have dreams about the sriracha maple syrup on that petite fried chicken. Charlie is an incredible chef and I love the touch of Asian-fusion (beef bulgogi app was life changing) he brought to classic southern fare. And Christy was such a pleasure to work with - super responsive and very creative to meet our vision. On the day of Christy and team were so attentive and ensured we as the bride and groom actually got to enjoy the meal we had catered. If you are looking to capture that low country Charleston flavor for your wedding or big event, you absolutely must do a tasting with Brick Lane! Their food and team-work will speak for themselves.
