Brian is the best in the business. He was super helpful with our planning and made our reception seamless. We were more than happy with how it turned out and will look back on our reception as a fun time had by all thanks to his hard work and dedication.

I've worked with Brian at a variety of institutions- Framingham State, Tufts, and Babson College for DJ, karaoke, and trivia events. He is so personable and genuine and I knew years ago that when I was going to be engaged, that I wanted to book him to be my wedding DJ. Once I was engaged, Brian was the first vendor I called. I knew I needed to secure him and I planned my wedding date based on his fall 2016 availability (that's how great he is!). Brian is so easy to work with. A couple of weeks before the wedding, he, my now husband, and I met at our wedding venue to discuss logistics. It was nice to be able to walk through the venue and get a visual of where he would be set up. We completed a music form and let him know what music we definitely wanted and definitely did not want played at the wedding. During our meeting, he wanted to make sure he had the correct version of the song and played each song for us to listen to. My husband and I are big concert-goers and had a specific list if music we wanted played during the cocktail hour/dinner. During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Brian was amazing- he was so fun, energetic, and the music was great- he got everyone dancing on the dance floor and kept the party going until the last possible contractual minute!

Brian was wonderful to work with! He was our DJ at our wedding at the end of July 2015 in Amherst, MA. We planned our wedding from a distance, and he was easy to speak with on the phone and coordinate all of the details.
He is an absolute professional. He had the perfect suggestions for songs for key moments during the event. He also met with us and our wedding coordinator at the venue the day before our wedding and reviewed all the details again, making sure he had the right songs.
All of the music went perfectly. The dancing after dinner was a true party! Brian knows just how to keep the crowd going. He was a great master of ceremonies, energetic, upbeat, and seemed genuinely to enjoy his work! He even thought to make announcements clarifying the details for our next-day picnic.
We cannot recommend him enough!

My spouse and I recently wed in Woodstock, Vermont. Brian was recommended to us by our venue's wedding coordinator. We are forever grateful for this recommendation. For starters, we were planning long distance from California. We had a relatively small wedding of 50 people-- so we were concerned with having a DJ versus a band, or no music at all and just having a dinner.. but mostly we were concerned that the wrong DJ-- one of those gimmicky, slick DJs that takes liberties with the YMCA and the Macarena-- could totally ruin the vibe we were going for. Brian is the polar opposite of cheesy. He is incredibly nice and equally professional. He asked us what we liked, what we'd want to hear, what we didn't want to hear, and then gave us a list of popular songs to kind of fill in the holes. I, personally, am a control freak. I literally wrote a list of songs I wanted during cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Obscure songs, specific versions of songs, songs that were truly sentimental to us, etc. Every single song we documented was played. Practically in the order the list was written. Our wedding day was our wedding day, played over the soundtrack of our dreams. Thank you, Brian, for listening to us, and assisting us in creating the day we always dreamt of.

Brian Nicks was absolutely phenomenal! He met with us several times before our wedding day to ensure we had everything prepared. He was tremendous on the day of the event as well. We had him do audio for our ceremony and reception as well as uplighting at the reception. He kept people on the dance floor all night and even set up an additional party light that he happened to have on hand free of charge. Brian ran the event seamlessly and we cannot recommend him highly enough!!

If you want the BEST wedding you need the BEST DJ!!! People were dancing until the very end of our wedding because of Brian! He's very personable and friendly to work with! We'd gladly recommend him to any married couple to be!!!
