Choosing the Brazilian Grill to cater our wedding was the best choice we could have made. The quality of the meat was incredible, the salads and sides that Max (the manager) provided were delicious (and filling enough for the vegetarians, who said they loved everything), and the service was impeccable.
If you've never had Brazilian BBQ before, and especially if you've never had it at the Brazilian Grill, you might be skeptical about how this works with wedding catering. We weren't sure how it would work either, but we knew we wanted it. In the end, Max mobilized a team of fantastic servers and gauchos to come around to the tables, and he also provided a buffet and had family-style dishes of grilled vegetables on the tables when the guests sat down. We had about 140 mouths to feed in our family's back yard, so figuring out the logistics was no easy task for Max, but he ended up working it all out seamlessly. He was even on the grill himself! People raved about the food, the service, and the spread in general. Even after getting back from our honeymoon, we're still thinking about the picanha...
I don't want to write too much about the specifics, because I think that Max is good at reading people and understanding what different people want, and then catering to what works best for each couple. However, he always maintains high standards for himself and his staff, so if you were to say you could only afford 3 servers for a wedding of 200 people, he would probably tell you that the deal is off. In fact, the two other Brazilian restaurants that we spoke with before going to Max told us that they only needed a waitstaff of 4 to cater our wedding of 140. For our wedding with the Brazilian Grill, though, I think we had a waitstaff of about 10 people, plus Max on the grill, plus the bartender. He maintains the same high standards inside and outside of his restaurant. He knows what he's doing and he was great to work with. We highly recommend the Brazilian Grill.
