I chose Brandi Sission because my husband and I were looking for a certain style for our wedding photos. Not only was she the most responsive out of all the photographers I reached out to, she was the best price. She included engagement photos and was willing to travel 2 hours to take the most breathtaking photos of us. She is so personable and really made us feel comfortable taking photos. Her talent is truly unmatched and you can tell how passionate she is with her work. On our wedding day she kept us laughing the whole day. She even helped me with assisting in videography for an extra charge when we couldn't find anyone at the last minute to do it. Her husband Allen was amazing at videography and they both made us feel so comfortable. They were hands down our favorite vendor for our wedding and I highly recommend her to anyone! I will most definitely be using her for future photos.

Brandi was the photographer we never knew we needed for our wedding day! From the very first time we looked at her photos, we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding! We loved every conversation we had, but nothing compares to the photos that she took on our wedding day. Every single photo is amazing and she truly captured the beauty of the day, even during the thunderstorms that rolled in. Brandi's husband Alan did our wedding video and it was outstanding! Couldn't be happier with how our photos and video came out, we can't wait to share with everyone! 10/10 would hire again!!!

Brandi shot our engagement and wedding day pictures. She came recommended from our venue and when I saw her style I immediately knew she was right for us. We left our engagement shoot wanting to be best friends with her and so excited to work with her for the wedding. On our wedding day, things did not go perfectly/according to plan and she was so calm and helped smooth over the hiccups in our day. It was obvious she is a professional at navigating the flow of weddings and she basically doubled as our wedding coordinator, when that was NOT in her contract! Her quality of work is unmatched and her passion is so clear in her work. Her film photos are so dreamy and most of our favorites are from those shots. We love Brandi and already recommended her to our friends who will be using her for their wedding this year! She was my favorite vendor out of all of them.

When we first got engaged we realized photography was very important to us. Brandi ended up being the perfect fit - she is so good at what she does. She understands lighting, angles, etc so every photograph turns out beautifully. She is creative and comes up with brilliant ideas on the spot. We loved our engagement photos. On our actual wedding day, she was an absolute angel. 
She has such a calming aura about her and her husband (who was her second shooter) is so kind. Being very type A and quite anxious at baseline myself her calmness really helped settle me so I could enjoy the day. She will send you a checklist/questionnaire a few weeks beforehand that she takes very seriously - I could tell she had studied this and made sure that she focused on what we were most excited about. It really made the experience personal and it meant a lot to us. 
When it was time to take bridal party photos multiple locations we had wanted to go to didn't work due to the city closing them off, but she was incredibly flexible and we were able to find a great location on the fly. She is very chill/calm but still professional, direct, and succinct. Our reception venue came with its own day-of coordinator, so we didn't have a coordinator for the few hours before the ceremony - which initially made me very nervous. But Brandi was able to rope everyone together (23 bridal party members! some of them wilder than others) and get everything done while still keeping a fun, relaxed vibe.
When it came to family photos, she was very organized and quickly got photos of everyone without wasting too much time; both my father-in-law and father have limited mobility so this was very much appreciated. We hired a separate videographer, and despite her never meeting them she worked with them beautifully - it blew my mind since they had never worked together but collaborated so well/worked around each other. It made us so much more at ease. 
Since we just got married we don't have any of our photos back yet, but I already know they are going to be fabulous (I'll definitely try to add them to this review later if I can). She is experienced and knows what she is doing; despite her calm exterior, she is arguably one of the hardest workers I've met that works 24/7 every day to produce the best work for her clients. Would highly recommend you book her!

*Highly recommend!* I was an anxious wedding planner and was particularly struggling to find a photographer in my price range that fit our style. Brandi and her partner were great communicators, very easygoing to have around, and produced such wonderful photos that we will cherish forever! Our photos are classic without being too traditional and artistic without being too trendy, and we absolutely love them. We are SO thankful we used her services. She was also flexible with how we used our package since we were out of towners and she helped film some of the ceremony/dancefloor also - which I highly recommend! Brandi is an angel among humans: she is the wind beneath the wings of every bride and human with whom she interacts. Brandi and her stellar husband, Alan, shot our engagement at the Valley of Fire outside of Las Vegas, and they made the experience the most memorable with timeless photos as well as well-timed wit.

Brandi is AMAZING! My husband and I feel so lucky that she was available the day of our wedding and that she was willing to work with us. From the beginning of the planning process she was extremely responsive, professional, and kind. We absolutely loved the engagement pictures she took. We had never had any sort of professional pictures of us taken before and were very awkward about it all, but Brandi was so great at getting us to relax and managed to capture such sweet moments. She was even patient with our nervous dog who she let us bring to the engagement shoot as well. Then the day of the wedding she was such a rockstar. She has a special sense of calmness about her and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to be there to capture all of our big moments. We had a very large wedding party and she maintained her cool the entire time and was excellent at gathering everyone to be in the right place. She has an amazing attention to detail and is so good at what she does. We are obsessed with the photos we have gotten to see so far and already know that we will love the rest when they are ready! We will 1000% be calling Brandi for any future professional photo needs!

I could gush + gush + gush about how amazing Brandi was. My husband and I got married in Italy and I DID NOT want to hire a photographer there that I was uncertain of and wasn't about to talk with about my vision for the photographs.
