Bottom View Farm is an absolutely beautiful place! The owner, Mr. Ralph, is who my husband and I feel in love with when we visited the farm. We knew the day we went to visit, that was the place we wanted to get married at. A month after booking Bottom View Farm, they had a woman take over wedding booking. She revamped the place and made it look amazing, but we ran into a few issues. We were told by the owner of Bottom View Farm that we would have the barn for our rehearsal dinner, but when we went to visit with my husband & my parents, they realized that the lady had double booked for that Friday night and we would not have the barn to decorate the night before. At that time I was devastated and extremely stressed out because I didn't want my wedding day to be all stress about decorating. Then we were told we could not change anything that the lady was going to decorate (and that time she had not decorated and we didn't know if we would like it)...but in the end, the other event was moved and we were able to have the barn the night before (which we needed!!) and the way she decorated the barn and gazebo was beautiful! Other than those few moments of stress, everything worked out in the end!

I want to start off by saying what a beautiful venue this was. Perfect for an outdoor ceremony, and the barn is gorgeous for an indoor reception.
The communication from the place was awful. About 3 weeks prior to the wedding, my coordinator left several messages trying to follow up about some last minute questions with not one return call. I also left a couple of message to follow up on the last payment with no return call. i was finally able to reach her via email, but my coordinator was never able to talk to her.
Something made me ask if sparklers were okay for a send off. We were told they were not aloud at the venue, but this information was not provided in the contract nor told to us beforehand.
Trying to find someone the day before or day of for questions or help was impossible. My mom was going to pay the remaining balance on her cc (for points) the Fri before, and no one was to be found. I had to go back Sunday to pay, but she would not take the cc number since I didn't have it on site. Their fall fest was the same weekend, and it was clear that was way more important.
The barn was cold because the heat did not work well. The chairs were not setup for us the day before as promised. Our names were not written on the chalkboard at the front of the long road to the venue as promised.
All in all, the venue is gorgeous and makes for some great pics. But if you actually want a venue that will communicate with you, this is not the place.

I went to bottom view farms after researching it online. It was beautiful on the pictures so I was excited. The day I went was a busy day for the farm so there were a lot of people there for the fall festival. The place was just as pretty as the pictures and the lady seemed pretty helpful but she wasn't very responsive on emails after the meeting to discuss renting the venue. Maybe she was very busy and forgot to email and call back but I ended up going with another vendor in the end because I was afraid of the quality I would receive from lack of contact. I can't say this place should or shouldn't be recommended but as far as communication I would advise to stay on top of it and be persistent with contact.

My son and daughter-in-law just got married here last weekend. We were absolutely shocked at the condition of the facilities, especially the barn. They have been doing renovations which included sprayed white insulation on every interior wall and the ceiling of the barn. 2 weeks prior my daughter-in-law did a walk-through of the barn and the owner assured her that all of the walls and ceilings would be finished and that the venue would look beautiful. My poor daughter-in-law was i absolute tears when she walked in for the rehearsal the night before and noticed that the entire facility was still completely undone. The interior still had over sprayed chunky insulation on the interior. Nothing had been touched or been finished like she was promised. It looked absolutely terrible. She asked the owner if it would be finished that evening and the owner dismissed her by only replying NO and then rushed out without any other discussion. Her bridesmaids had to rush out to Michaels to find some fabric and bunting to cover an entire corner of the room because it was so unsightly. Also, the bridal suite was filthy dirty including a disgustingly dirty toilet. The room that had all of the decor and chairs and things were covered in an inch of dust and the chairs that we needed to use for the bride and grooms table were covered in black mold. The air conditioning was also not working due to the renovations. I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone. They should be ashamed for tarnishing what should have been the happiest day of their lives. This was honestly a case of fraud. The venue that they saw in the day they contracted with them was NOT the venue that they had on the day of the wedding.
