I cannot recommend Rob and Franco highly enough as a team. Our photographer was one of the most important investments for our wedding and I am confident that we could not have made a better choice than Rob, who we worked with for both our engagement session and the day of the wedding. Rob's photos are honestly more like art- he has an incredible eye for beauty and captured the most stunning angles throughout the entire day. As we were looking through we honestly couldn't believe it was us in some of the pictures! While you can fully trust that he will capture every photo you might be looking for on your wedding day, we really appreciated that he also asked for our can't-miss shots and was willing to work with some of our creative suggestions as well (including some suggestions on the day of!). To top it off, Rob and Franco are the absolute nicest and easiest people to work with. Our family and bridal party loved working with them, and we got so many comments on how friendly our photographers were. They put us at ease in every shot. Although his photos truly speak for themselves in how incredible they are, we could not recommend them more highly.

Bonnie and her husband Tom were an absolute JOY to work with. From the get go they were not only warm and personable, but also organized and detail oriented. They somehow got us to loosen up during our cold, windy engagement shoot and it showed through in the gorgeous photos that resulted. We knew then that we were in supremely talented hands. The wedding itself had a lot of moving parts and a huge (excitable) guest list and Bonnie, being her poised, charming self handled all the beautiful chaos of an Indian wedding perfectly. She could appreciate the importance of our family to us and there were so many cultural elements that we didn't even have to explain, she just got it. I can't explain how special that was. Bonnie and Tom captured the energy, beauty and love of our wedding better than we could have ever hoped for. So grateful for their work!

After rescheduling our wedding date due to covid and finding out our original photographer was not available on our new date, we were on the search again for a new photographer, which brought me to Bonnie Sen Photography. Being located in DC, Bonnie's husband Tom set us up with their DC photographer, Rob. Rob and Tom were a joy - responsive, professional, genuine, and extremely flexible based on our custom needs and budget. In one phone call I was ready to move forward with the team, and seeing Rob's full galleries sealed the deal. Right as we were about to sign on with Robert Aveau as our photographer, our circumstances changed and our original photographer was able to accommodate our new date after all, and I felt like I was breaking up with someone I still loved when I had to break the news to Tom and Rob! With all that said, I felt the need to write a review because Tom and Rob could not have been more approachable, down to earth, and lovely to work with in a stressful time. Rob- I'll be calling you back the next time I have a life event worthy of your timeless, stunning photos with amazing light and warmth. Until then, I'll like every photo you ever post on Instagram. Working with Bonnie and her husband and Tom was a delight on one of the best (& most stressful) days of our lives. We had looked at numerous other photographers in the area and were fortunate to have found Bonnie. From our first time meeting her up to the wedding day, she was helpful and so calm. We have so many beautiful photos from our wedding day which capture so many emotions and moments not only between us but with our family and friends on one of the most important days. Choosing Bonnie Sen to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning. From the start it was very easy to work with her, she was very responsive and was always happy to help no matter what our question was. Bonnie is incredibly talented and has an eye for unique photographs that capture the story of the day. Bonnie was absolutely wonderful to work with! Both my husband and I work in architecture and it became very important for our shared love of our field to come through in all aspects of our wedding. So when we started looking for photographers, we were looking for someone who would capture all of the great textural qualities and details that were not only apart of our wedding but also our historical venue. Bonnie was perfect! From our first meeting we felt that she truly understood the look and feel we were going for. She was wonderful to communicate with and so responsive. On the day of, I know that she had everything well in hand and would get some absolutely beautiful photos for us. She handled guests and requests with ease and was able to keep to the schedule perfectly without sacrificing shots. Bonnie even ventured into an old, abandoned power plant (probably filled with tetanus) with us when we asked to shots there (the resulting photos were incredible). She will go above and beyond and delivers absolutely beautiful photographs! We loved working with you and would do it again in a heartbeat.

What else do I have to say except; BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER. Bonnie has that creative/modern eye I was looking for.
