St. James Meeting House offers a beautiful and historic setting for your wedding ceremony. Located in the picturesque Boardman Park in the heart of Boardman, Ohio, this charming former Episcopal church was built in 1828 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1972, it was relocated to its current location where it underwent an extensive renovation to modernize its facilities and maintain its historical charm. St. James Meeting House can seat up to 125 guests in its 18 white pews. Featuring gorgeous stained glass windows, hardwood floors, an Allen Organ and upright piano, two elegant candelabras, and a bride’s dressing room, this beautiful venue is the perfect place to exchange your vows in front of all your loved ones. this was our venue to get married. myself(the bride) and several others are HIGHLY allergic to pine. The chapel the day of rehersal put up real trees, then the day of... whole place in real pine. granted nothing maybe benedryl can help, but when one pill can knock you out..it was. The venue did not wish to help us out at all, and only said we should have checked, after booking the venue about 6 months before hand. I wouldn't think they would use real stuff since many have issues with it, and it is a wooded park, why kill what they support?
